Yeah she's really good, hope she nails it.
Same. She needs good pundits alongside her though. McCoist and her on the radio was very good. (Used to listen whilst dropping Mrs off at the station).

The James Richardson documentary on TNT sports now is interesting. About the English  teams in Europe in early to mid 90’s. The narrative, backed up by punditry from the time, is how poor English football was. With performance in Europe as main marker of that.

I’ve made the point on here before that I think  English football was the worst level of quality it’s ever been between about 1992 and 1997. Really hard to judge players who only exceeded domestically in that period.
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

Viaplay is pulling out of the UK, see if TNT get some of the sports that viaplay currently have the rights too, the UEFA internationals would be one of them.

I know this is about BT Sports, and not more general - but been seeing some clips of CBS Sports coverage in America, and, although I am not a big fan of Micah Richards, Thierry Henry is class and Kate Abdo is a really good anchor  - she is fully fluent in French, German and Spanish (saw 1 clip where they were interviewing players in French, Spanish and German, and she live translated) - puts our anchors to shame

What the hell were they playing at? Teams attacking... so let's have a close of a player's face at the other end of the pitch? Or cut to a reply of something that came to nothing whilst teams are on the attack?

And then when a player is down receiving treatment - we stay with that... instead of then showing any replays of incidents? You and me could do better! ;D

I had 5USA on; the commentator alongside Andy Townsend... has a habit of inferring that black and South American players were 'diving', whilst the white / British players 'bought the freekick'. Needs to go on a few awareness courses and fuck any of his racism/xenophobia before being allowed on air again - though maybe that's what 5USA is going for?

Re BT/TNT; I posted this in the Wolves thread, from before our match today, so apologies for reposting it here...

'[Mo on X] Man City vs Arsenal will be moved to Sunday March 31, 4.30pm, per source. TNT Sport, who still have two LFC picks remaining, want Liverpool vs Brighton on Saturday March 30 at 12.30pm, making it 4/4 for Liverpool in the early lunchtime slot after International breaks.'

I think here is a maximum number of matches that TV channels can show a team - so they may have two matches left that they can show us.

(this used to be the old way they did things - I think it still is - I'm not 100% - though someone will chime in who know for sure ;))

Oh right I thought they had to show each side an equal (similar) amount. Definitely does not seem like that.

Think the maximum they can pick a team is 6 times. We have Brentford in February at 12.30 and then they can pick us one more time. They just keep picking us after every international break the wankers.

In one season I'm assuming? It's ridiculous they keep picking our games.

We have Sheff United at home the Wednesday after the Brighton game on the 3rd April. The Brighton game would be great in the 5.30pm sky Saturday slot or even part of the sky doubleheader at 14.00 on the sunday before 16.30 City-Arsenal which the twitter guy above mentions as a possibility. Lets hope he's right.

They surely cant fuck us over again with the early Saturday game after the international break can they? Im actually in Bangkok that weekend so the early Saturday game would be kicking off at 6.30pm local time which would be great for me because the match will be over by 8.30pm. I will be in Billboard in Nana by 9pm  ;D ;D :-X :-X ;) ;)

But seriously Saturday tea time or Sunday 2pm would be much better for the South American players who are fucked over with the jetlag and lack of recovery time.
