I went with my family on a war graves trip (their grandad was injured at the Somme and fought in arras) I wholeheartedly second this. Lovely little town

dunkirk  ( the route I've drove past 2 finals )  is only 3h drive on toll roads   and remember in you drive in the inner circle you need a clean air zone pass and they pain to get off official site

We are in at 3 ish. The issue is more accomodation in Paris on the Friday so thinking of driving part way and stopping off then an early dart on Saturday morning.
