A hard match to watch but the gulf in class was huge. I would have liked a more creative midfield display but a win is always great. I thought Fabinho was excellent, a proper footballer.

Salah was outstanding in the 2nd half. Different class. He's so efficient and direct with his attacking play he can sometimes seem one dimensional. But when he drops deep and properly involves himself... wow.

Fuck me! Not at our best today but credit to Brighton, set up well defensively. Hendo to some extent, but especially Gini could have been much braver 1st half, killed our tempo a fair bit. Apart from the goal my highlight of the game is the same Gini showing the Brighton player (who complained about hand ball) exactly where on the sleeve the ball touched him

I hate how refs spoil the quality if matches in the prem. He books some of their yarddogs as he should have early on, and all of a sudden, the team who wants to play football will be able too.

Just heard we have kept 13 clean sheets so far. On a day like his, that makes a big difference. Feels good to be able to rely on the defence. We know Salah & Co will find ways to score, even if it's just once like today.

Baffling how some of these defenders are professional footballers. Thick as fuck, some of them. I was actually both annoyed and elated the way the defender (can't remember who?) thinks he can pull Salah by the scruff from behind and thinks it's not a foul and protests it. Dickhead. If I were a Brighton fan, I'd be raging against that twat instead of booing Salah.
