We're done. We could have played for another five hours there and we wouldn't have scored. Even when Jones was clear through on goal, I knew he wouldn't score. Every other team in the league would have buried that chance, except us.
We make such unbelievably hard work of scoring goals, even when we're in better form, yet it comes so easily for other teams. They have one chance, they score one goal. We have twenty chances, we score one goal (or none at all).
Every single game is just Liverpool labouring over chances. Passing, passing, passing, looking for an opening, messing it up, passing, passing, passing...
You can't fault them for effort but the technical ability, composure and perhaps the system itself, aren't enough.
Gutted that we don't get the fairytale ending for Klopp but it's been a hell of a nine years. And I'll always be SO glad, that Jurgen was a red.
