Cool ,why did he wave physios on and tell a player to go to the floor when he is covering his own arse.

According to Dale Johnson "he allowed the medical staff to come on"... :lmao

Just for comparison Pep was 3rd, CL last 16 and FA Cup semi final in his first season.  That summer they spent 170 odd million on the likes of Gundogan, Stones and Sane.
Yes. But for a squad that finished 3rd* (this season) barring any major outgoings, and not knowing what to expect next season, the bare minimum is maintain this level.

So league is probably the same position as this season.
CL, maybe I can cut some slack. Maybe go out in R32 or R16.
Cups? Domestic competition finals in either one of them?

* We are on route to finish 3rd only because we screwed up 4 games. Last 3 games, and United in December.

I feel you should take that question to a Nottingham Forest website or a Wolves one. Not that they're any more objective than we are of course.

Would that be the Forest and Wolves that have been outspoken against the PGMOL. There seems to be a pattern there Yorky.

What amazes me is how teams that complain get fucked over without referees being biased?

I mean we complained about Tierney and he got a record number of Liverpool games. Was that bias or did the PGMOL employ retribution fairies?

Remarkably Tierney gave a decision in our favour a drop ball and it appears he has been kidnapped and is in Webb's basement. Forest complain about Atwell being a Luton fan and the next game Luton get a Notts County fan in Coote as referee. Not content with that Forest get Hooper who failed to send off Madison for punching a Forest player.

People downplaying our entire coaching staff leaving & being replaced with a coaching staff with no experience in a top league. You also claimed Arsenal have no top quality at both ends of the pitch, maybe you're overrating our talent & underrating other teams.

It's not being downplayed but the key part is our squad is vastly experienced which is going to help, it also helps a lot of the current back room is staying and/or has experience - Spearman, Edwards, Hunter, Fallows, Hughes etc.

Wonder if Achterberg remains!

I think with Nunez there's just no consistency. He jumps wildly between elite and looking like a donkey, so I can understand how both sides of the debate can get entrenched.

For me, I want him replaced. Even knowing full well he'll have a season where everything falls right for him and he'll score 25-30 in the league.

I can't stand the offsides, the bad touches, or the poor passes that break down our attack constantly. I don't think it's a good plan to rely on lady luck and hold out for the season it call goes right.

He has played in 62 PL games for Liverpool, and only scored in 16 of those. It's not consistent enough.

Yes you can talk minutes, but the reality is the best players command those minutes. If Nunez was consistent enough he'd be on the pitch.

He has 20 goalas and 11 assists in 62 PL games.

Or a goal or assist every second game..

Why? How many titles have they been denied by clearly bollox refereeing decisions?

Thats with a practically finished midfield off the back of a much more taxing season than this. Despite all that we finished 5th.

We have a group of younger players who now have an extra years experience. If we finish 5th in that context then it isn;t good enough.
