I dont usually bet but I really fancy us for the league this season so had a look around for a flutter. I opened a sky bet acount as they had a free £30 offer. I put £20 of my money on us @13/2 which activated the free £30 which i put on as each way so if we do wil the league I get £280(13-1) and if we finisg 2nd I double my money.

Anyone find any particular bookies painfully slow in regards pay outs?

I think it depends on what bank/card you use.
When my card was Visa I got all withdrawals almost instantly. Since my bank switched to MasterCard, William Hill and PP both take at least 48 hours.

Salah SoT @ 2.0 (Befair)
Pickford 1+ Save @ 2.0 (Paddy Power)

Worst case scenario you should break even. Be amazed if we didn’t have at least 1 SoT, never know with the way refs are brandishing reds like confetti!

Skybet have Alexis to have 1 foul at evens as well.

Even if he starts, imagine he’ll only get 60 mins at best so going to avoid that one. Especially with us being at home.

Did in plays on Dortmund to get 2, 3 or 4 cards

One foul not given which was a bad one. Gordon creamed on wing and a cynical one on half way from sule. No cards at all

Got.it back tonight.

Palace 23/20 in play for over .5 cards.

13/2 for over 1.5 cards. Could see.they were committing more fouls. 20 on each

Spurs were up to 5/2 for one card. Just as I go to place 20.on that the market suspends. Notice a special of 6/4 for any card

20 on that

Ayew scored. It all heats up. Andersen wallops hil,.Johnson Wades in. Both booked. Then ayew gives a bit of lip

All in 243 euro. Wipes out a few losses

Can't fucking believe it - did a Random pick bet on tonight's game, 4-5 goals/9 corners and 7 cards in the game @ 600/1.  One too many goals scored.  Think they should pay it out to be honest, they'd surely pay on exceeding the cards and corners so why not the goals!! :mooncat

600/1 seems a lot for that. Was it exactly 9 corners and exactly 7 cards?

It's a "Lucky Dip" - 4-5 goals, 9 corners and 7 cards in the game @ 600/1 is exactly how they've written it.

The odds if I remember right, are predetermined, you just select the stake you want to bet on a randomly generated set of terms.

Sounds to me like that's exactly 9 corners and exactly 7 cards.

Over 3 goals, exactly 9 corners and exactly 7 cards is only 169/1 on 365 for tonights game, so I reckon even without the late penalty your bet would've lost.

Who was your bet with? Sounds like something I want to get involved in  :D

Ladbrokes.

Whilst we're nattering, I'm back out to the US next week - any bookies I can sign up with that will allow me to run an acca or two whilst I'm out there?  Ladbrokes doesn't allow and it's the only bookmaker I'm signed up with at the moment.

Not sure where else to post this so apologies if wrong place.

Does anyone know how the double Asian handicap on betfair works?

for example below if i put £20 on Frosinone to win at +1 and +1.5 at 2/1 what does that mean?

It's basically 2 bets.
You're betting £10 on +1 and £10 on +1.5

So they have a 1 goal headstart for the first bet, and a 1.5 goal head start on the 2nd.

If they lose by 1, the first bet is void and the second bet is a winner. If they lose by 2 then both bets lose.

If it's a draw or they win, then both bets win.

haha I think Juve potentially might field a weakened team in the Coppa Italia so might be an opportunity to hedge.

Not 100% sold on the bet though!

OPTA stiffed a load of people with the Solanke sot, pokes a toe at a cross which Allison picks up in front of goal. Not given as an SOT.

Had Allison blundered it and it went in, then surely it would have been given.

An SOT is awarded for a goal no matter what, even if it's an accidental deflection.
When it's saved, intent comes into it. I've not seen it apart from live, but did look a deliberate attempt at goal from him.

needed one more booking in the Egypt game for 50 quid and two more for 170

Egypt score, player takes his shirt off, mental scenes on touchlines, constant arguing etc

nobody got booked

typical

(incidentally, several sites like flashscore and livescore initially listed a booking, then hours after the game took it down)
