I already have a budget striker who never features and didn’t really want to have to go 451.
I got rid of Guimares as well ;D

I've kept Nunez on bench and Jesus upfront on his own this weekend. 4-5-1 this weekend for me or 4-4-2 with work one.

I'm sticking with Guimaraes. Any reason you lot are getting rid, is he playing as a DM or something?

I've made a pretty poor start to the season but I feel like i should persist a bit while everyone is fit and playing. I only just made my first transfer of the season, trading Luke Plange for another 4.5m striker, the bloke from Fulham who started and got an assist last week, to occupy the 15th squad place. I will probably ditch Trent and even Ali if we can't even keep Bournemouth at bay and Trent isn't assisting. My "full complement of LFC" policy is the primary reason for my mediocre score. Others like Jesus, KdB, JWP, Trossard, James are doing OK.

He’s playing pretty well. I did it partly as a double swoop to get Toney in because Wilson is out…although he might. And some strange hunch Carvalho will score for us today. Leaves me with about 1m in the bank for any tweaks next week too.

Guimaraes has looked good but not seen him anywhere near the goal. His price dropped $0.2m this week.
Everyone bringing in Rodrigo, his price jumped to $6.4m. Too much for me so I've gone with Harrison at $6.0m.

Sometimes games like that show how unlucky you can be when playing fantasy football. There are things you can do to improve but making Salah captain in a 9-0 win and him not doing anything would never happen again.

Feel like everyone is going to go Haaland captain now for most gameweeks.

Yeah, wondering whether to bite the bullet and get him in, although the damage is done with everyone who has him from the start. Or get Nunez back and double down on him coming good (after his suspension ends obviously!).

Salah decision is just pure bad luck, but why would you take Trent out before Bournemouth at home??  Haha not to rub it in just what was the thinking and who did you even replace him with

I didn't want to but I had Solanke and Fornals in my side and had to replace both as I can't see either producing anything much this season now. I had 2 free transfers but if I just took those 2 out it left me with 10.4 only in the bank so I couldn't get anyone worth it to bring in. Taking Trent out meant I was able to bring in Zinchenko, Harrison and Toney. I gambled and thought long term those 2 will get me more points than Trent, Fornals and Solanke but I couldn't have got it more wrong this particular gameweek - Zinchenko was injured, Harrison did nothing and Toney did nothing against Everton at home which I was surprised at.

I knew Trent would get a clean sheet but never saw him getting a goal and a few assists- I thought he would come really good again once Nunez was back from his crosses.

It was a stupid error really but long term I trust the players I brought in will produce more than Solanke and Fornals who were just deadweight.

I was envying anyone with Mo going into this GW. Turns out captaining Diaz instead wasn't the worst choice. Salah-owners extremely unlucky.

In fairness to Untie, one of the reasons I never hit the heights in FF is because I tend to stick with my original squad too long when other options have clearly established themselves as better, and it's usually only an injury crisis that will shake me out of my torpor. That effect is magnified when the better options have already been pounced on by the majority of rivals - I should have shuffled the deck for Haaland after his opening day brace, but I dithered and now convinced myself his ship has sailed. I am, however, thinking of shifting Jesus - because what's the point - and trying to bring in Kane, although not sure where I'll get the extra dosh from. Sir Harold is quietly making an unusually bright start to the season while everyone is blinded by Norse Predator.

Guimares and Mount out

Rodrigo and Odegaard in

queue Mount scoring 4

Next target is to get the funds to sign Kane instead of Toney

Zaha will have to be downgraded

Thinking about trading Martinelli out for Trossard/Gros before the cut-off point today.

Arsenal about to go in for a run off tough fixtures. Might wait till Arsenal play Villa and Brighton are away at Fulham, first...

Brought in Matheus Nunes, next window I am going to try bring in Darwin uptop.

I have went too defensive/midfield heavy with a bunch of very good players, but that means I am missing the obvious lads like Haaland and its already affecting me.

Made a mistake with Kelechi upfront too, got to try get rid of all Leicester players as I think they are in for a torrid few weeks.
