I know they won’t but it sort of makes sense to make the ACS a priority as you needed previous attendance to get on it.

I’ll be happy if they stick both STHs and members in together for the ballot.
they never have used loyalty from past seasons once the campaign begins. Of course STHS and members will be in the same ballot

again it's not really fair to just start doing this in the middle of a campaign, from next season sure they could change it but they won't during the season

Allocation of around 33k tickets.
guessing around 1k of them will disappear to the club.

I suspect there are around 8-10k people who have been to 3+ games.
Taking in to account there could be lots of people that did 2H  &1+A , but some will have gone to different aways.

Lets say this leaves 20k tickets for 40k fans who went to both home games...

1/2 chance?

More like 7000 who went to 3+ games, so roughly 25000 tickets in the ballot. It was probably around 40k who went both homes games, minus the 6500 who also went to an away, leaving 33500 roughly eligible for the ballot. Given extortionate train prices to London and how some people may not want/have the time to travel down and possibly stay overnight, then a few thousand will be put off entering the ballot. This all puts the chances at around 80%, but of course some people will enter the ballot and not buy, so the first 500 or so on the waiting list may get a ticket, which further increases chances of being successful. All this really depends on two unknown factors- the exact number on 2 games and how many of those would want to go to Wembley.

For once in my life I have two aways and two homes so don't have to worry, so my main concern now is how many of my mates manage to get one as well. Six in the ballot, hoping at least 3 get one, but we'll soon see. Should be at least one ;D

Don't think the League Cup ACS sold out this season, and that was after going to all members.

I think we should be sound then, hopefully. If you’re successful the aim will be to get in sooner rather than later to pick up a cheaper ticket as some of those ticket prices are scandalous

You would think if it didn't sell out ACS members would be ok, especially as everyone had the chance to sign up to it so there are no closed shop issues either. Will still be everyone with 2 in the ballot though.

people will still have arsenal and Leicester outside the ACS but not sure how many. 25k applied for the Kyiv ballot, if the number is similar you'd think everyone will have a good chance

Probably won’t need to do it for this, and complicated by behind closed doors seasons, but the criteria for our last visit to Wembley was interesting. Putting members on par with season ticket holders based on league attendance…

That was due our last trip being in the community shield and attendance in the league is what got us to the runners up place? They ain’t including league attendance in this sale

I’m sure the community shield went to all STH first, then members on 19, then moved down. I got one on 8 homes as it continues to drop.

So my Son & I are in the ACS for the league cup. Sadly I was working away in Newcastle for the home game against Arsenal so I distributed my ticket to my lad's best mate. Does that mean I will no longer have both home games on my purchase history for the ballot if that's what is required?

Train booked and can't wait for this! I've always loved this competition and it would be great to win it again.

Wembley seemed a long way off in the 94th minute of that Leicester game :)

3 of the 5 guaranteed, 2 of the 5 will be a ballot

A 'register your interest' will be used, so the club know how many 'guaranteed' will buy one, and what's left to allocate to ballot

33k allocation
5.8k will have 3 of the 5 games
5,000 seasonal hospitality holders are guaranteed as per contract policy on neutral grounds with 20 odd k allocation
Priority rights holders guaranteed
Club will take their usual big chunk for players, staff, sponsors etc which will be a few K...

I'd imagine about 50% will go as ballot seats IF everyone who qualifies in the guaranteed takes one, which some wont..

Bestimate is 60%-70% chance of a ticket in the ballot, using pre-registration might bump that up if people fail to realize they need to register like we saw with the league ballot odds jumping

Yeah, my memory is clearly shit, just checked and I paid £56 in 2012 and 2016.

Didn’t suggest it would happen just said it was interesting. Particularly in light of members always crying in here when season tickets get preference over them. Seemed a fair way to put regular attending members on par with season ticket holders. I’ve personally always considered cross competition credits fairest. Don’t go don’t blow.

There was some differentiation of season ticket holders and members last time we were in a league cup final.

How many priority rights holders are there? I’m really intrigued how transparent the club are with the numbers. They can’t even be transparent for normal sales for each game.
