Same old same. You can straight out assault our players and not even get a free kick. Thought it was a red when i seen it live and no way VAR doesn't see that on several replays.

Fucking hell. We saw both go down, but with the lack of reaction from Atwell and the way he played on, just thought it was a coming together. Seeing that shows its a fucking assault.

In such situations, our players are too nice and this makes the referees think that they will get away with it, as you can see.  In cases like this, if they're not going to get in the ref's face, they should at least signal that something wrong has happened.

Yeah. We continued to play on, and launch an attack. That didn't help. If VVD had kicked the ball out of play once he receives it, we might have had a stronger case.
It shouldn't matter, they should still be checking it however.

You are right about this particular situation, mate. I also didn't see how terrible the offense was until I watched the replay.
What I mean is that our players need to stop being so nice and start flagging every time there is a foul and they see it. It pisses me off to watch our players getting injured, the refs not reacting, and we just keep going.

That's on Jurgen, even though he goes nuts on the side, he won't have it from the players. We may find the next manager actually encourages the players to do it.

I wanted us to kick it out, cos if they had turned it over in midfield the ref would not have blown, and he would be playing everyone on.
