We'd already booked our flights before they brought the offer out but we did apply with our booking number etc. We weren't sure we'd get tickets though, or that they might give us SF tickers, even though we only fly out on the Friday, so still applied via the club.

Not sure when we'll find out but doubt we'll be the only ones with "duplicates" if the offer pans out. Three of us. So it might offer some hope to some on here you missed out.

Really hope you're right, made a last minute decision to go and now on the lookout.

I'd presumed there would be loads of spares like most events in Doha in the past but hey i guess we pull in a bigger crowd..

I think if you have it added there, it is guaranteed. As they removed the option once sold out.

Just checked my booking, my ticket application is showing

even though I only entered via the Qatar Airways link at the time

it states: A member of our team will contact you by 30 November 2019 to advise on the next steps for claiming your complimentary match tickets.

so fingers crossed, I've applied for the final (obviously) and the semi (I'm not there though) but you had to apply for 3 games

I did wonder but it said to submit your flight details if you'd already booked so we thought it must apply. Not that bothered to be honest as long as there aren't lots of empty seats.

It’s sold out mate. Although my email from FIFA does say:

“Tickets cannot be resold except through the authorised resale channel which will be made available by FIFA Ticketing. Details of the resale policy will be available at FIFA.com/tickets, in the ‘Ticketing’ section of the competition website.”

So I reckon there will be a further sales window for officially “re-sold” tickets.

I think a lot of fans will have got tickets on the Qatar Airways promo with their airtickets and got match tickets through FIFA so once all the confirmations have been sent out there's gonna be spares available

I'm in Doha from the 17th and there's a double header at Kalifa Stadium from 17.30 local time and Flamengo ko at 20.30 which will finish around 22.30ish and then the Villa game ko is 23.00 local time so 3 matches after each other to watch!

Depending on work and family, I may be able to pull off a few days and get myself down to Doha.  I am also worried like above that the tickets are all "sold out" from the official sources but whether there will be any reallocations makes me think I shouldnt book my flights yet.

Additional tickets for the tournament will go on sale this Thursday through the FIFA website

I'm unsure on how using the ticket of someone else will go down in Qatar if it has your name on. Like will they be bothered or not or will they even check. For UEFA Finals no checking takes place. For Italian games they check closely for example. For this and this country - no idea.

could of sworn there was 2 promotions
the first one looks like it was open to anyone who had booked a flight on Qatar Airways (I never paid any attention to the T&C's here)
the next promotion was specifically if you booked a Qatar Flight (This is the one with the T&C's which appears to effect us)

so lets see what if any further emails come before the 30th Nov (my application (semi & final) is showing under my manage your booking)

Hard to say. Looking at my flight (tues night) on the seat plan it only looks about half full.
I have no idea why they all came down, but it was the day after the villa date was confirmed. I am not sure if people changing flights had an effect.

Only a rough guide depending on how much you paid - for example the 75 QAR seats (category 3) are behind the goal and the expensive seats are in the Main and Kemlyn if you know what I mean
