Spurs very good in defence whilst we lack that extra bit of quality to open them up, tight game and ready made for Luis to kill em off last 30 mins.

Considering our last few performances against Spurs, I'll take this so far.  Get on Suarez for Kuyt around the 60th minute and we'll be good.

This is the sort of game that for me sums up why we are not higher in the league, it is all there but for the final ball in the last third. Get that right and this game and the future will be far brighter.

I'm feline good about the second half.

Really enjoyed Skrtel going through Wales' brave Gareth Bale.

Young Livermore has done brilliantly, apparently. No mention of young Kelly, or young Spearing.

Controlled the game very well. Carroll has been brilliant again. We should win this considering the awesomeness we have on the bench and that we're attacking the Kop. Come on lads.

Spurs are a tidy team. i feel like we are scared stiff of their pace on the counter so we are taking very few risks in player movement and running. Kuyt has done a brilliant job of blocking the angles for any pass to bale , but as well as he has done there he has been just as poor in keeping the tempo of our attack. his first touch almost always slows the pace of the attack, but we need the lad on.

i think bellamy is struggling vs walker, esp as they are doubling up and showing him down the line every time where walker is just as quick if not quicker.

Need suarez on to bring some unpredictability, but maybe at the risk of stability?

What a horrible guy Kyle Walker looks.

If Suarez comes on instead of Dirk/Bellamy and Henderson for Adam I think we might nick this. Big Andy and Gerrard look great.

Why the fuck do people think Kyle Walker is better than Johnson? He's absolutely gash in comparison to Glen.
He'll be on Bellamy's dinner plate, if he doesn't wind it in.

Gerrard was faultless in that first half. Absolutely flawless.

Johnson and Carroll also playing well.

More of the same in the second half please.

Suarez for kuyt please, thats not because kuyts played badly just need a different option on the right, suarez does track back himself aswell not to the extent of kuyt but thats no reason for keeping him on the pitch imo.

And is there anything better that seeing Gerrard in full flight? He's either going to smash one at goal play someone in or draw a foul.

Been good up until we get to the final 3rd, nothing really happening. Game is screaming for Luis. Get him on for Kuyt who's having a poor game. Bale has been non-existant up until the last couple of minutes.

Extremely average and devoid of ideas. Dirk having a bit of a shocker. At least there are options on the bench if things don't improve. Come on reds, these are there for taking.

Walker is a gobby c*nt too, cockney twat.

Adam is putting in a workmanlike performance, which is something I didn't think I'd be saying. My hat is off to him for his composure and guile so far today.

We just need someone to be brave in the final third and take a chance.

Kuyt needs to step his game up or be substituted for me. He's tracking back well but losing possession far too often.

Carroll has been brilliant. Gerrard brilliant. Johnson playing like he has a point to prove. Been massive on the left side so far.

Can't fucking wait for Suarez.

Decent first half. They haven't done anything going forward, and we're playing some nice football, even if we mess up the final ball too often. In particular Kuyt, almost every attack broke down at his feet. Hope Suarez gets on soon.

Gerrard magnificent, Adam very good, as was Agger and Skrtel.

Enter Suarez.

They're there for the taking. We won't do that, however, with Bellamy out wide needlessly and Carroll up front on his own.

Doing ok, but not one player can pick out another with a cross. We just lump it and hope.
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

Need to get more shots off in the final third. We can get elaborate at times. Quicker crisper passing is required. Not sure this team has attributes to play that way. Overall good without actually going anywhere.

That Kyle, is why Johnson has the England #2 Shirt. Because he's wiping the fucking floor with you, even out of position.

Andy's been very good, so happy he's got his touch back. Dirk's been poor unfortunately and Bellamy doesn't have the space to be as effective. This game is crying out for a little Uruguayan of some sorts.

Suarez will change the game. You can see why he didn't start, he'll lift the crowd, lift the players and make Tottenham's a bit more wary when he's on the ball.

Our best chances have been presented via set pieces which have been woefully wasted. Needs to be better, because if the second half continues in the same vain, then Spurs could potentially get a smash and grab here as the game gets more stretched. Bit of a damp squib of a match.
