Is it weird that I’m more confident against City or Chelsea in final in FA Cup than I am of idea of either of them in Champions League final?

Maybe it’s just because it means more and the potential for vile.

I'd say that should act as a wake-up call for Real but neither of the first two goals did it so I doubt a scare will.

Walton said if it hits the goalscorers hand it gets disallowed

Replays show the ball rolling up Alonso’s thigh and touching his hand. Commentators spot it, most people watching see it.

Peter Walton. “I can’t see any evidence that it hit his hand.”

The average age of this Real team is about 46.4. Can't believe we got beat by them last season, let alone them still dragging their corpses around this term.

You cannot check everything. What if there was an offside not called in the build up to a corner that required a really detailed check? If you're checking corners, do you not need to check free-kicks in and around the box too? Throw-ins?
Corners are not so numerous, you cannot check them. It takes a few seconds for a VAR referee to confirm. And they can directly lead to goals, which is not the case with a throw-in.

I don't think that should have been disallowed, but then Chelsea shouldn't have been awarded a corner for their 2nd, so I guess you could say things have balanced out sorta.

Villarreal went into this game hoping to timeaste their way to a 0-0, wondering if they now just try and get to penalties - long time to go to try it, but they have nothing going forward. Bayern dominating as you would expect.

Phillips and Kabak at CB in a high line. Midfield giving Modric and Kroos the run of the park to play balls through. Having to play at their training ground. Missing good chances.

You just need to outrun them.
