Bailey's batting is all about the biff. He now has to play a cagey game that he isn't suited to.

If he'd have come in when Croft fell, he could have played his natural game, hopefully got 15-20, then we'd only have a handful of runs to get with batsmen better able to dig in a bit.

Lose this, and Lancs want ragging.

What’s realistic in terms of total and overs for Warwickshire to set Somerset? 240-250 off 60-70overs? Or will it need to be more tempting?

The Somerset batting line-up looks strong. Surely they will hold out.

They have a Pakistani fella with 90 tests under his name and a triple century, a bunch of other england internationals (Don't know if that means much these days) and former Rangers and Southampton midfielder Steven Davis in the lineup.

They’ve been awful with the bat in recent games until their first innings here though.

I imagine Warwks will get as many as they can by Lunch and try and give themselves a couple of sessions to win it.

Lancs are definitely in the Bob Willis final though.

Looks like Warwickshire are after about a 275 lead before declaring. I would mean that they'd have less that 80 overs to bowl Somerset out, so only one new ball. It's doable given how many wickets seem to be falling all over the place but it does look like a flat pitch.

Azhar has come in at 3 (but Warks do now only have to take 9 wickets)

Somerset trundling at just over 2 an over, so I don't think they're going for it.

Feels like Warwickshire are big favourites here.

3 down now and Somerset's batting has been poor for a while. Failed to score over 200 in 5 of the previous 6 innings before this game.

Looks like a relatively flat wicket where runs have been easy to come by. But against a determined and talented team like Warwickshire my fear was always that Somerset's batting frailties would let them down.
