As for their fake sponsors, I always thought the idea behind sponsorship was, like, you know, to actually promote your brand?

I don't expect to have heard all about these new City sponsors, but feck me, they have millions of the fuckers crawling out of the woodwork.  I think I'd struggle to name anything other than their shirt sponsor these past five years, but it seems they have different sponsors for their left and right socks. 

Their kit should look like an F1 car from the noughties.

'Manchester City’s annual accounts for 2021-22, published last week, showed their commercial revenues are now £309.5m, up 13 per cent in a year and now more than half their total income. Commercial giants and cross-city rivals Manchester United earned only £258m from such deals in the same season.

In their accounts, City also acknowledged ‘an ongoing Premier League investigation’ into alleged irregularities.

These include alleged anomalous ‘disguised investment’ via sponsors, alleged violations of rules on signing underage players and alleged fictitious consultancy contracts.

The investigation is well into a fourth year and moving especially slower as City’s lawyers continue to contest its legitimacy.'


They really are a bunch of overly sensitive cheats - sums them up, their zealot-like accusations aimed at any actual exposure of facts, criticism or actual wrong-doings.
