Rather play him than Milner.

He was injured, again.

The midfield and squad are riddled with players who are not reliable and to be honest I am questioning whether the likes of Milner, Gomez etc should have been offered a new contract.

Laughable. No chance we lose that game if Keita starts ahead of Milner. But hey, let's suggest he's about to leave when there hasn't been an inkling of a team bidding for him.

Not sure he should be subject of discussion tonight.

He's not even an option (not for the first time).

Rather play him than Milner.

That would be grand if he could fucking stay fit

With his injur record we are right to let him go - but his replacement should have been sorted

He was injured, again.

The midfield and squad are riddled with players who are not reliable and to be honest I am questioning whether the likes of Milner, Gomez etc should have been offered a new contract.

Matches missed through injury in 2022:

Henderson: 0
Milner: 0
Keita: 3 (1 was an illness)
Fabinho: 3
Oxlade-Chamberlain: 3
Elliott: 4
Thiago: 6

It's not THAT bad. But the problem is players like Keita, Elliott and Ox were hardly used even when they were fit.

For all we know Keita will be available for the next match. He's not had a serious injury since last October.

Assuming he's actually injured instead of being sold behind the scene, you guys better hope he's fit to play next week instead of demanding him gone.
I mean, look at Milner and Henderson's performances tonight lol.

Been a terrible let down.

In hindsight, not the greatest time for his camp to feed stories to the press about the United game being a factor in deciding his future in this window.

God knows what's wrong with him this time, but his agents need to park the speculation about his future and he needs to get his head down and try to get himself fit enough to contribute something on the pitch.

Don't they just do a light walk through the day before where they work on shape and patterns for the specific opponent, or is that the morning of? Either way I'll stand by what I said in the pre-match in that I'm guessing he's playing a sick-out until he gets a new contract, a transfer, or the window closes.
