Ticket Sales for Final in Glasgow start on 4 th March
No tickets will be made available to agencies for the event at Hampden Park on 15 th
May
Monday 4 th March heralds the opening date for ticket applications by the general public for the
UEFA Champions League final to be played at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Wednesday 15 th May
2002. The capacity is 48,000 for this game.
The tickets being offered to the general public and application forms can be obtained from a
special page which has been set up on UEFA’s Internet web site. The address is:
www.clubfinals.uefa.com. The main bulk of those tickets have, however, been earmarked for the
two finalists, who will receive 14,000 each.
The application period will close on 25 th March and, if by that date, the demand exceeds the
number of tickets, the successful applicants will be decided by a draw at the end of March. As in
the 2000/01 season, UEFA is not distributing tickets to agencies.
UEFA will undertake all necessary measures to avoid any misuse and exploitation of this system
and will reserve the right to take legal action against any organisation selling tickets.
Supporters are also reminded that no ticket sales will be handled by the Scottish Football
Association (SFA) nor by UEFA itself.
Applicants who do not have Internet access to UEFA’s web site may request application forms
from their national associations as from 2 nd March onwards.
Ticket prices for the Final are:
1 st Category £80.00
2 nd Category £70.00
3 rd Category £50.00
4 th Category £30.00
plus a handling and administration fee.

The only problem with that is we will not be sure if we will play in that game and by the time we know the 'administration fees' will be at around 400 pounds...... :D

Has anybody managed to get an application in? Keep getting the 'Your request could not be processed, please try later' message. Must have tried about 100 times.

I had no problems getting my application in.

Although I meant to get fifty quid tickets, and ended up thinking fuck it and got 80 quid ones!

It all goes through to a lottery.

The admin charge was £8 per ticket.

We'd better get through now!
