Just checked and according to CanYouRunIt my R7 200 series 2GB graphics card isn't good enough somehow. Guess it's Xbone all the way 

The comp specs are one of the highest for recent games to run it, know mine won't handle it and wifes will struggle to pass the min ones too, so went and got a ps4 and telly solely for this, was miles cheaper than 2 upgraded pc's and allows me to go play Bloodborne as well

I  heard something about Bethesda wanting to make the console versions moddable too.
I wonder how that will work out, if they still want to do that.
I don't know if there are any powerful tools to mod for the different consoles.
And if it would be possible to port a PC mod to console.
Interesting times ahead.

Read a article about that myself, not sure IF they have followed through with it, but can imagine it will be something that would be a massive bonus for the console versions

Yeah.
I think a lot of people still go for the PC version because of the modding.
IF they can manage something to make modding a thing for the consoles too, it might well bring future PC sales down.

The PS4 and XONE versions will have mods next year for it.  Which is going to be great for console players.

Another thing they need to work on is tactical games as well and being able to port them over to console versions, two off the top of my head would be the footy management sims (FM etc) and games like the total war series (and its various mods which massively improve it)

The more like a PC engine that a console has then eventually it will become the norm to be able to mod them though

Hope Fallout is as good as F3 was though, had to shell out for a ps4 and a new telly after i blew my HDMI board on the last one streaming footy from my pc lol

if they do anything i can see it working a bit like steam workshop where you subscribe to the mod and the game downloads and installs it for you, there's no way sony/microsoft are going to give people access to the hdd as they want their systems to be secure

the console versions of skyrim can use pc mods but you need a hacked console so i can't see there being any problems with the actual mods if they can come up with a way of installing them that keeps the console makers happy

Just a heads up, be careful where you visit. There is a load of spoilers doing the rounds. People are being pm'd spoilers on Reddit (if you post on the /r/fallout sub) as well as having spoilers in the thread title on Steam forums too. I imagine YouTube comments will have been hit as well, someone mentioned over on Steam that 4chan were up to it, but don't know if it's true or not.

I had it spoiled, I'm not overly fussed, its about the journey, not the destination, right?

Same thing happened with MGS5, the whole game could be spoiled with one sentence. Some people are sad, especially as they are spoiling the game for themselves.

Never cared much about spoilers.
They only make me more curious about what it will look like or how it's gonna fit into the overall story.
Curiosity is more my drive when playing games (or watching cinematic stuff), I do not really care about fictional story lines as they are crap most of the time.
Sometimes I am surprised that a story isn't complete bullshit, but I have to admit it's so rare that I can't think of a good example.

I have to say that I was rather shocked in Skyrim (my 1st Bethesda game at the time) about having to kill and eat a priest !
That was something I never expected when I started that mission.
After that I found out that the people at Bethesda are basically sick bastards that always have some funny and twisted things for you to do.
I guess that is why we love them so much ...

Missus put F4 on pre order the other day mate so looking forward to it, and Bloodborne i already know is one of my xmas presents from her - bloody having to wait till then though makes me annoyed lol, looks brilliant and more like demon souls than the dark souls ones - which im still a huge fan of.

Imagine it'll be more gameplay altering mods, like replacing models, fixing bugs faster or making changes to how the game plays.

Texture mods will definitely be a no go for consoles.
