Darren Fletcher trying to look tough is hilarious.

The kit itself is really good IMO.

How much would it suck being Kagawa and knowing your club only value you as a marketting ploy. He is so prominent in all their marketting and yet plays less frequently than Ashley Young.

Also, surprised Janujizz isn´t more prominent in the picture given the hype and people clamouring over themselves to declare him better than Cruyff etc.
My first article on Anfield Index on Shaqiri. Enjoy. bit.ly/2mAq3Qd

Kagawa isn't a marketing ploy, he's a brilliant player who hasn't been utilised properly by Fergie or Moyes, hopefully Van Gaal wont make the same mistakes.
He's also played more games than Sturridge in the past 2 seasons.

Then wiki is wrong (not so strange, I admit). They have Kagawa at 56 over the two seasons, and Sturridge at 61 (12 for Chelsea, 49 for Liverpool whom he joined in Janury, 2013.

His win % at Barcelona was about what Moyes had at Man Utd.

He then didn't win trophies for 10 years until after he was at Az Alkmaar for 4 years.

Then moved to Bayern where he was in a one team league, won the league and lost in the finals of the CL, and didn't last 2 years with them. Andries Jonker took over on an interim basis until they hired Jupp Heynckes who did win the League and the CL.

Interesting, were some rumours of warrior pulling out of our deal and seeing as nike made the kits for 4 of the top 7 last season (both mancs, arsenal and Everton) and soon will just be left with city, could work out well for us

And if adidas pay them £60m for their kit deal then god help them

yeah and..he got sacked..

Then came back to barcelona and lasted not but 6 months.

Return to Barcelona (2002–2003)[edit]

Van Gaal returned to Barcelona for the start of the 2002–03 season, but results were inconsistent. After four wins, four draws and three defeats from their opening 11 league matches, Barcelona lost three matches in a row, to Real Sociedad, relegation-threatened Rayo Vallecano and Sevilla. Two wins and a draw improved things but after successive defeats to Valencia and Celta de Vigo, he was sacked in January 2003 with the club just three points above the relegation zone.

And here's hoping he takes Man Utd to just above the relegation zone..

He quit in his first spell, wasn't sacked.

He was sacked in his second one though, but that's not so bad,
there's practically no respectable manager out there who hasn't been sacked (except maybe Guardiola)

He jumped before he was pushed. President Josep Lluís Núñez, his backer, was ousted in 2000 during the elections in May. He didn't even run because the socio's were upset with him and especially the football under Aloysius Paulus Maria "Louis" van Gaal. So the handwriting was on the wall.

Edit..and the second time around with Barca--6 wins, with 5 games drawn and 8 lost--got him the sack in January.

Soccer-Nike to end kit supply deal with Man Utd

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/07/07/soccer-manutd-nike-idUSL6N0PI5C520140707

Nike has been supplying United's famous red shirts since 2002 but the current agreement expires next year. Its withdrawal is expected to clear the way for the club to sign a lucrative new deal with German sportswear company Adidas.

He's no Moyes, but he's no Ferguson. Although arguably has a bigger ego than the Govern tramp. If it doesn't go very well, very quickly this is going to be fun to watch. And chances are it won't go very well, very quickly.

Edwards, no?

{Edit} from Martin Edwards wiki.

Toilet peeping incident
Edwards received a police caution following an incident at the Mottram Hall Hotel, near Macclesfield, Cheshire on 17 August 2002. A woman in her 40s alleged that he had entered the ladies toilets and spied under one of the cubicles at her.[6] He resigned from the Manchester United board soon after news of the caution broke, and stepped down as chairman seven months later. After the incident, further witnesses came forward stating that they, too, had been victims of similar behaviour in toilets at Old Trafford.[7]

No way they’re in for another left-back.
It’s wargames to inflate price for someone who’s in for him. We’re in for a left-back, would you be surprised if its us?

Anyway, Rodriguez’ agent and Wolfsburg will be most pleased.

Not a bad agency to get onside with:
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rogon-sportmanagement-gmbh-amp-co-kg/beraterfirma/berater/1

My guess is they mysteriously drop interest in Rodriguez then shortly after sign Papadopoulos (I really hope not).

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.
