Just don't give up a goal or massive chance in the first 150 seconds, then we'll take it from there.

Can we find some non- league side to play a 5 minute friendly against our boys prior to kick off? Get it out of the system...?

Na, might be losing after 5.

Please just go for the jugular and win like by 7 goals. Start putting pressure on our rivals that we are not going to give up without a fight.

It might pressure Arsenal in their next match and they might be a bit wary of their goal difference superiority.

We did beat them away by around that scoreline a few years ago. Our players need to play with fire, that Atalanta scoreline is not good enough.  Klopp leaving with just the league cup this season is really sad.

We also lost a league title because we got greedy and tried to improve out goal difference against these.

Any win will do.

Has to be Allison, Robbo, Van Dijk, Konate, Trent, Endo, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Diaz, Jota, Salah.

7 games to no. No if's, and's, or butt's. All hands on deck. Just play the strongest side available for fucks sake.

No Jones and No Darwin. Trent after no minutes and Endo starting against a side with real pace on the counter.

This is a mad thread.

Shouts of hammering a team by 6 or 7 and teams including players that haven’t had any minutes in weeks.

The midfield choice would be interesting. I'd go either for Endo-Macca-Elliott or Macca-Jones-Elliott if Curtis is ready to start. But by what Klopp said (20 min) it seems that he won't be most efficient for more than a half, so maybe a sub?

as much as I love Harvey, we've seen (imo) plenty of evidence now that he is MUCH more effective coming off the bench. I don't know why, but he is.

no way I'd start him while Dom and/or Curtis are available.

I’m really losing my mind with people quoting crazy scores. It was the same with Sheffield. We’re in for a hard and tricky game tomorrow. Win will be hard earned.

We now can’t afford to fuck about with resting players with future fixtures in mind, if they’re back training they play on a Saturday / Sunday, end of.

Just win. I’d be happy with a standard 2-0 win, minutes for returning players and a goal for Darwin to boost his confidence.

That’s not how it works. You can’t just throw players in who aren’t ready.

It’s an absolutely bonkers strategy.

I'll hazard a wild guess that if (say) Trent starts and goes off with bad muscle problem around 70 something minutes, you'd be one of the first on here to squeal about the physios / Klopp overplaying him when he's not ready.

I think without flags it is going to have to be all about damage limitation. People are talking about 6 or 7. However, if we can overcome the lack of flags I think we can keep the score respectable.

As Yorky pointed out though the main thing is what the people of South London are going to think about Anfield without the flags.

Here’s how I see it;

With Alisson - let Virgil hit the goal kicks.
Trent - Bradley comes in after 60 minutes when we’re 2 or 3 up to stretch them even more. We’ve lacked creativity of late, Trent solves that.
Jota - he got minutes in the legs on Thursday. He will be fine with 60 minutes tomorrow. We can then bring Darwin on to cause chaos.

Ali hasn’t been in full training.

Trent won’t start but may come on.

Jota might start but unlikely.

Think this will be another cagey affair as I  think they’ll fancy this. Players confidence will be an issue after the last couple of games etc so settling into the game and dictating the play early should help with that.

Crowd support will be massively important too.

Sorry to disappoint the ‘win by 7 or 8 goal’ supporters on here but I think we’ll win 2-1. Certainly can’t see us putting them to the sword, but we have a league title to win!

Lose and the league is over. That goes for arsenal and 115 aswell, though looking at 115's remaining games, they arent losing any of those in a title run in.

Lineup's apparently leaked, same as against United with Ali in goal. Grain of salt.
Football without fans is nothing.

We've won 18 titles, 5 European Cups, 7 FA Cups, but today must be the greatest victory of all.
