Was on the Tube home last night, about half ten. This couple had a quick goodbye kiss on the platform (I only watched a bit), all seemed very nice. She got on the train, he went another way. To the neutral observer all seemed to have gone quite well.
Then she called her mate telling her how three of his cards had been declined, how awkward it all was and how in the end she paid for it all and he was promising her he’d sort it when he was getting paid in a couple of days.
If I was a betting man I’d predict it won’t go too much further. And secondly, glad to not be in that world anymore!
