Another perfect illustration of the players at this football club thinking there's only 45 minutes in a game. Fucking woeful.
I really want to believe this game could be the making of Andy Carroll though, as it's the only positive I can take from that game. Don't think the second one was fully over, but no doubt it'll be "justice for the Garcia goal" or whatever bullshit, and Mourinho will crow about it like the classless gobshite he is.
As good as Andy was, still think the starting lineup was right, we just didn't turn up to play. There was no pressing, we barely linked up going forward, Gerrard was picking the ball up at Reina's feet, just depressing what a massive opportunity they threw away.
Shame Kenny didn't roll the dice and throw Jonjo on for Henderson at the end, but we weren't good enough over the course of the game, and got what we deserved - Fuck. All.
Can't be arsed slating individual players because the team performance was that bad in the first half, just left me wondering what is going on in the heads of these. Gutless.
