It used to be the Fifa World footballer of the year award but then that merged with Ballon d'Or to become the Fifa Ballon d'Or but then they separated them again to have Ballon d'Or and Best Fifa men's player award.

Its all abar the acceptance of UEFA and FIFA, that football - as much as we/or they, are all brought up on it - is not just abar puttin the ball in the net.
