Anyone watch the season opener , amazing show so much potential Raylan is bad ass

Thought it was ok. Low-key but well acted, kind of like Burn Notice but without the humour. The lead actor is interesting and so was the bad guy, but not much else in terms of supporting characters. Got a feeling the cowboy hat/western look is going to put some people off.

Only recently discovered this series and am absolutely hooked. Caught episodes 5-10 and have tracked down the remainder, working my way through them now.

I remember the character from a couple of Elmore Leonard's books and was interested to hear he thought the on-screen depiction lived up to his expectation. Timothy Olyphant is absolutely perfect in the lead role, having hat'n'gun "previous" from Deadwood.

Thoroughly enjoying the story arc, execution of pace and the dialogue which is worthy of Leonard himself.

Oh, and Natalie Zea's in it too. Bonus

Great really understated series and a must for fans of quality American imports (think more Burn Notice/Dexter than The Wire though).

Marvelously acted and superbly cast all around, stick with it as it just gets better and better as the series evolves, Olyphant is perfect in the lead role.

Think it's 10 meself, can't recall though it didn't seem like 13 but that might be down to the quality.

Not sure about a second season, hope it's been given the go ahead as it seems like there's a lot more to come with this one.

Excellent. Really enjoyed the first series. Understated + mid-paced + good story arc + top lead character = viewing happiness.

Well this almost went completely under the radar. Justified is back tonight on 5 USA at 10pm. Nice write-up here in today's Guardian:

Watched S2 E2 last night and enjoying it as much as ever, although I'm hoping there's more screen-time coming for Walton Goggins - the guy is a revelation as Boyd Crowder.

(On a side note every time I hear that character speak I can't believe this isn't the same voice that gave life to Dale Gribble from King of The Hill)

Excellent news! Hopefully it will arrive on FX in the UK in the next few months. I love the accents and the use of words, "Well Ma'am I don't rightly know about that.." etc etc. Have no idea whether it is authentic or not but it sounds great to me! Looking forward to it.

I love Boyd Crowder, what a great character that is; a real arch enemy for Raylan (Not exactly Holmes and Moriarty but great chemistry).

Just watched episode 1 season 3 - it doesn't take long to get going - and gets really interesting near the end. Lovely!!! hopefully this is setting the season up to be the best yet!

I'm surprised that this series hasn't got more posts. I enjoyed watching westerns when I was a kid and this show is like a modern day western. Season three is moving along much faster than previous seasons and the other two moved along pretty quickly. It's one of the best series on tv at the moment.
