Think Sturridge himself tweeted yesterday that he's back in full training. Not sure how long we'll give him at that stage though before expecting him back for matches though

@SimonPeach: I am told #LFC will be without Adam Lallana for the next month due to a thigh injury. Big blow.

Lallana another muscular injury at the end of the christmas period - quell shock

I think 8 players went off with injuries in the new years day round of PL games
It's bizarre that clubs like us (with big squads) don't rotate / rest more and its still seen as unnecessary by most fans and pundits

Really need to look at our training with all the muscle injuries we have to our players.its like u can't be a Liverpool player unless you've had several muscle injuries.

Such a shame for both Lallana and us. Sometime you've got to accept it just might not be your season - a team with a fully fit Lallana and Sturridge would be comfortably top 4 IMO.

Only if were going to play him, if he is going to come back and sit on the bench for a month then move to u21's then is there any point? We have others who can play that position.
