Even random systems don't pick next numbers. Logical but not fair.

The name may have been consecutive but the membership numbers weren't.

I need to know where my dad is on this waiting list before i know if im going to buy.

Just buy it mate.

Then either sell it on

or

Dad gets lucky on the waiting list

or

Dad goes to Wembley and buys from unofficial sources

Would agree with this. You never know what will turn up, it's a lot better having one between two than none.

I will just think that I was unsuccesful until then, lol, lol !!! Well done to those who got in and commiserations to those who didn't, especially to those who didn't, yet still come on here and with genuine sincerity say well done as that is true sportsmanship considering the complete "Randomness" of it all !!!

Supposing the other person isn't successful and need to sell the one ticket on. Would it get there on time you reckon? Wonder when this waiting list will be announced.

My guess is that all tickets will be in our hands by next Saturday.

A whole week to shift it if needs be.  Doubt it would take more than a few hours to find a buyer.

Hahaha position 5948 on the waiting list - I think I'll just go and buy the drinks and snacks this weekend for watching it at home!!

For anyone unsuccessful and wanting to know their number on the waiting list, it is on the email you receive from the club. Number 1147 for me! Luckily, the gf was successful and she will be out of town so that's me sorted!

The fact the groups are split up means some people will buy to sell.  While others will buy in the hope that their mates on the waiting list get lucky - and then decide to sell (if no luck).

There will be a surplus of black market tickets.

Wouldn't hold my breath mate, can you imagine 900 of the 8000 people not buying tickets? I don't think more than 300-400 people off the waiting list will be successful.

Got 1 ticket out of 4, was desperately hoping for 2 for me and my mate. Gutted for him but obviously happy for me, now it's just the hunt for someone who was successful who isn't going because they are on there own. Badly need one more!

Take it the reference number on the email are the actual waiting list position then? If so, I've got fuck all chance through that method.

Gutted, but at the end of the day, could have made it easier on myself by having an away on there as well. Ah well, will just have to keep my fingers crossed that something magic comes about and if me being not there means we get the Carling Cup out of it, that'll me an alright compromise.

......and could he play!

643 probably means the slightest outside chance of getting a ticket (though unlikely).

7478 means no chance in hell!

This is a touts paradise.

Even for those with no original itentiton touting - having a ticket you're not going to use because your mates/family can't go - will make people do things they would not ordinarily do.

I'm in ballot with my 2 kids, husband guaranteed ticket already as he has a ST. I'd go without them if they didn't get drawn, my biggest worry is that 1 kid will get drawn and the other doesn't. Not sure I could take 1 and leave the other behind. It's daughters 10th birthday the day of the final, she'd never forgive me if I left her behind!

Good luck everyone  :wave

Well, the ultimate nightmare happened! 1 kid drawn out but not the other or me. I get a ticket now as its a child's ticket that was drawn.
Blimey, how to tell 1 of our kids they can't go? It'll scar them for life 😥
I'm not moaning, pleased to have got 1 but gutted by the decision we have to make!
