Fair enough. I think with unique links the entire website is locked down totally (including the 'check seats for me' button) so without the correct cookie I'd imagine the request gets blocked if a bot tries.
I'd guess a bot can do it's business once one of the unique links they're using gets to the front of the queue though.

Is that what they do is it ? It didn't do that in the members ballot sale a few months ago. I was able to log back in again after completing the transaction.
I know they were doing session expiring a while ago, but I haven't seen that this year.

apparently this season it's been possible (not that i've tried). will be plenty of genuine groups all pressing back to sort their mates out too, though, hopefully (and not just touts!)

For anyone in, if you have the time I’d recommend hammering refresh until anything goes orange then pressing select seats for me.

That’s how I got my Arsenal ticket, appreciate it may be different for this with it being unique links but worth a go.

This one seems to have run more smoothly than Arsenal. I was 1 min in the queue for Arsenal and was hit with a sold out banner immediately, mate was around 50 in the queue for this and said it was much more normal and could see everything that was available straight away

100% this, should have gone to supporters who attended both FA Cup games at home this season, not the cross competition single game that they’ve used now, sometimes (no, most of the time) the ticket offices logic defies belief. I’m ok, but feel for those regular supporters who have gone to the competition home games.
