Cracking first hand look at the seventies onwards scenes in Liverpool, I'm only up to the mid 80s (which I lived through, with relish) but looking forward to what happens next. Here is episode one on the I-player.

Fantastic stuff. I was from down South but a lot of this was my music. Hadn’t realised Supercharge were from Liverpool. Saw them at St Albans City Hall. Fantastic live band - they had a thing where the lead guitar’s string ‘broke’ and the sound guy came on to fill and broke into an amazing guitar solo.  Then a few months later saw the Clash, Buzzcocks and The Slits at the same venue.

On episode 3 now. Loving it. Songs that take you back to a moment in time.
