Cutting it a bit fine with the announcement for Wolves aren’t they? Wonder what the hold up is…
Oh there won't be a logical reason for it at all. All clubs find out the away allocation 6 weeks before the match but we always drag our heels and leave the sales until late compared to pretty much everyone other club. A shame as for both Chelsea and Newcastle they did the sales in plenty of time, but we've clearly reverted back to type  ::)

I'm wondering if we're getting a reduction after the issues last year smashing the box in the cup and ripping the seats out in the league

Although they still don't help themselves as they've announced it today yet the 1st sale isn't for another week...again when away clubs know 6 weeks before the match, why wait until just over 2 weeks to go before starting the sales?

Does Bournemouth sell out on 19 or does a percentage drop to 18 games? I wonder if the 19s will all get one 🤷‍♂️

And Wolves got 1091.

Assuming we get the same or very similar, not everyone on all 19 will get one.

Yep. Wolves ‘might’ have already deduced the players tickets before announcing the 1091…that’s just a guess though.

Got this from Luton Town's website & Chelsea's website, couldn't see the Brentford allocation.

https://www.lutontown.co.uk/tickets/away-ticket-news/

https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/fulham-away-ticket-news

Both got 2,701 ticket allocation.  We got 2,240 in August 2022

There was certainly people in it towards the end of last season. Looked like the ends were being used, but not the central blocks.

Best way to know is look at their allocation at everton compared to fulham or whoever ev play on the 16th

Fulham didnt take full allocation at everton
Wolves got 2972
Arsenal getting 2976

4 less for wolves than arsenal

Good point. In that case I’ve got no idea why they got 60 less at Luton.

Just got an email about Spurs and Brighton games being trialled for NFC use if you pick a particular block...otherwise you get paper tickets as normal.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Must be a tech trial unless they're doing ID checks

No longer have to worry about tickets turning up in the post on time or losing tickets, just forward the email and its with the receiver in seconds

Great in principle but only if once the person has downloaded their pass, it automatically blocks other people from downloading it otherwise it will be a touts dream.

ID checks at away games. Never happening away stewards dont want to be checking away supporters details the agg they would get etc. ID checks will be more likely at home games but ultimately the clubs are doing these fan updates etc…. They wont want to be paying for extra checks adding to the queues etc…

The thing is it would mean no last minute spares and essentially loads of people who go on other cards also excluded. What they should is a friends and family list. Similar to homes with ID checks. Other clubs do ID checks with nfc tickets at aways for this exact reason.

This works with the current members cards right? Should be possible to implement similar that something can only be downloaded the once.

Not against it personally. I go to every away game (domestic cups) that I buy so wouldn't be bothered by this, but we do have some on the ladder who I'm always passing their ticket on - which is great when it comes to sorting someone else out but perhaps not ethical really when the demand is so high from people who want to enter the ladder.

Agree with Paul though, I think I've managed just under half of my games following the reds in away/neutral grounds and now we have members cards they are the best parts of my photo album of old tickets over the years. At least I managed to get a couple hundred tickets in there before they became a relic of the past.

I'd like them to find a way to get the away tickets onto the normal members card eventually though if possible and by all means allow people to pass onto friends+family but the set up should be similar to league home games, perhaps 1 or 2 is fine but anything beyond that you lose the credit. I know the argument re: burner phones etc but yeah. That said I don't know why I'm that bothered, it's never dropping like Blackburn 2011 ever again, so I've resigned myself to never going to any league away games anymore.

It’s really odd because West Ham got 1151 as well. If by some miracle we do get 1350 then everyone on all 19 will be guaranteed whereas if 1151 then they won’t be.
