Some players hit the ground running, (like Mo for example), but more often than not you need a season to get used to a new team/country. This is the Ragnar that Klopp saw in the bundesliga. A solid player perfect for modern squad rotation. Long may it continue!

For me he has been one of our best performers recently. he took a lot of stick when he joined but he has worked hard and has obviously listened to Klopp. His positioning is good, he passes the ball quickly and accurately, he gets stuck in and he can bring the ball forwards.

He may be the perfect match for VVD (if he holds down a place) as Klavan is a no nonsense defender that would complement one who likes to carry the ball.

He's really beginning to look like a very good premier league defender recently.

Also liked his post-match interview today, not sure I've heard much from him before. Seems like a really nice guy.

I think it was because he didn't know if it was his goal or not...
