I expected it to be the trickiest leg of the bet but I wasn't expecting him to have to come back from 2 sets down. Thankfully, I was in the land of nod so I had no idea.

Nice to wake up to some winners. Sorts of the mess I got in during the NFL last night.

I've been following Ramvaswani and it's running in 4.00 Fakenham.

Ram Vaswani is actually a shit hot British poker player and I started following the horse for fun really and I haven't seen much to encourage a win to be honest. Not sure if Ram actually owns this like.

Will have to go some to get placed let alone beat the fav that Planet Terror mentions above but I've done it EW just for the he'll of it anyway.

Disasterous and such a strange incident. Owl Whispers just kicked its back legs and completely caught Adam Wedge straight in the knee on a different horse. Painful without a doubt.

I've held fire with the plan to back Bandy in a double with Man City tomorrow.

Might just go heavy on the single of Dolgo. Can't find anything to double him up with at the moment. Doubled him up with del Potro. Fuck what I said about opposing him the other day, I like the match up against Sela and the lack of power on Sela's shots should see him get plenty of time to play his shots and he'll find his groove after a while.

Pays 1.96. Should see me right for the evening before I get on the Nalbandian bandwagon in the morning.

Stepanek's 5/6 tonight to beat Isner. Given that Isner is hardly famed for his groundstrokes and Stepanek will constantly come into the next and pressure him, I think it's a good bet. Sadly missed out on the Evens offered yesterday but if anyone can let me know their thoughts on it and try and either enforce my own viewpoint or throw me off it, I'd appreciate it.

Cilic's price is fucking silly as well. 4/9 against Giraldo? Has he lost an arm since the start of the Open?

Reckon he has a chance. Wasnt beaten by much that last race, and was with a better quality of horses. Should prefer the step back up to 7(win 10 days ago came over 6f) and should do well.

Ended up doing a Stepanek & Cilic double. Just think the variation in Stepanek's play will keep him one step ahead of Isner who hasn't yet impressed me this year where as last year he was in good form coming into the Open.

Also had a punt on a treble of Dolgo, Melzer 3-0 & Petrova. Dolgo so I can ride the Paddee train though I think the slower court will suit him and Becker won't deal with the spin. Melzer 3-0 due to Riba being nothing more than a dirtballer and Melzer should be far too superior in every aspect on a hard court. Petrova as Molik's a spent force. Poor at the Hopman, battered in Hobart and spends a lot of time playing at a poor level of tennis these days. Petrova has points to defend, should be motivated and has a good record in the Aussie Open so it should be a straight forward win.

Winning one set to love, and has a double break in the second.

Is right.

EDIT: Job done.

NO ONE CAN STOP HIM/HER

Having a few quid from these winnings on this new Aussie fella, against F Lopez. Been really impressed with what I've seen from him this year.

Very generous handicap. Likely to be a night match, big atmosphere so that should boost Tomic enough to at least keep one set competitive.

All about tonight. Will probably just play the single as I think that Berdych's price is a little skinnier than I was hoping for.

I'm hearing that Flat Out is a put-your-mortgage-on-it cert on Sunday in the 1.45 at Leopardstown.

Any thoughts horse people?

Top class horse going in a top class race, won a begginers chase by 13l last time at evs and a hurdle race time before at 1/5 by 2.5l...

Excellent 5th in the supreme novices at chelters last year followed by a good 2nd in the Irish champion hurdle..

So very good fom last year.nothing to get carried away with this year so far in easy races but this will be the acid test(Grade 1 Arkle Novice chase) before going to Chelters Id imagine...

Forecast at 9/4 2nd fav
Looks a tough race with the top 5 in the betting holding good chances..Will have to see the ground before making a choice though.

You're better just having a smaller stake on him for the Arkle. Won't payout straight away, but if it loses tomorrow you lose, if it wins, you'll be sat on a nice bet in March and the excitement of an antepost winner.

Won by 13l on a bog at Punchestown a couple of weeks back. Are you thinking the worse the ground, the likelier the result, or is this a serious step up for him?

Only a gentle punter on the nags, so excuse the terminology.

So it's one that catches your eye Phil?

The ground will be key to all there chances, some may like it,whatever it is ,,more than others,,its a serious step up in his chasing career..

Phils idea is a good un with the festival in sight,,
http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/ante-post-racing/cheltenham-festival/arkle-trophy

Flat out best price 14s wheras realt dubh forecast fav for above race is 20s.

Should either win their prices will probably halved,,

I've backed Ghizao for the Arkle, but I was proposing that merely from a what would I do point of view.
