Will we risk Mini from the start after he played an hour Thursday and struggled with the intensity? Maybe not if Mane's out next week at least. Who else could start though with Origi and Harvey?
Sorry... who?
Takumi Minamino
Interesting. I don’t read that as sniping at us. I think he actually makes some very good and fair points. I don’t entirely agree on the FFP thing - City have found ways to circumvent those restrictions to some extent, but there’s an element of truth in what he’s saying. It’s a fact that Liverpool are one of the global football elite, and that the system is designed to help us get richer, concentrating the wealth into ever fewer hands. As in wider society, so in football. I enjoy the fact that my club are beneficiaries of the system, though it doesn’t sit easily on my conscience. In an ideal world, I’d like to see the money spread around a lot more fairly. In wider society and in football. And yet some of our fans do like to paint us as plucky underdogs. We’re really not. And it doesn’t undermine our achievements to admit that. The way the club is run these days is exemplary, and our success on the pitch is a product of a lot more than just wealth. All Evans is saying is if you want to see real underdogs, the match tomorrow is the best example you’ll see all year - the best team in the world, and one of the richest, against a middling league one side. We’re likely to have a 16yo kid starting the game whose market value is more than the combined worth of their entire squad. That’s insane. We ought to give them an absolute pasting, that is really the minimum expectation.
Craig Burnley V West Ham - WEST HAM WIN - INCORRECT
I was idly wondering whether we might see Lewis as LB and Larouci reverting to LW. Or simply a change of formation. Be interesting. Looking forward to this one - a chance to see some youngsters - just don't want a replay.
Klopp sees it as a problem. Think he wants the break for training.https://www.espn.co.uk/football/liverpool-engliverpool/story/4017512/liverpool-manager-jurgen-klopp-hits-out-at-fa-over-cup-replays-in-winter-break
Emptihad living up to its name today. So bad even Pep expressed his disappointment. Shit club from top to bottom. Tickets for all their games except one (no prizes for guessing which one) are on general sale with a limit of 6 tickets per person. Hoping they dump a load of return tickets for our game for us to pick up and turn the stadium red.
We're 29th in terms of net spend across Europe since 2015. We've no right to be the best team in the world with spending like that. Evans is a prick.
Any team news?
Ta mate, got confused with the hour ahead here.
I'm confused now, wouldn't we playing by now then!
Crosby Nick never fails.

"The key isn't the system itself, but how the players adapt on the pitch. It doesn't matter if it's 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, it's the role of the players that counts." Rafa Benitez
if I came home to allison in bed with my wife I'd ask him to phone Virgil to see if he wanted to pop round too.
