Indeed he is. Always good to see big names who are reds. Van Niekirk may not be a big one yet but he's got a lot of potential and will be in contention for medals in Rio and beyond.
He has just created sprinting history today. A 9.98 100m in South Africa makes him the first athlete to run sub 10 seconds for 100m, sub 20 seconds for 200m & sub 44 seconds for 400m! A phenomenal achievement.

@ Veinticinco de Mayo The way you talk to other users on this forum is something you should be ashamed of as someone who is suppose to be representing the site.

Does anybody know if Paul McCartney is a red?

From Wikipedia:

McCartney has publicly professed support for Everton, and also shown favour for Liverpool.[367] In 2008, he ended speculation about his allegiance when he said, "Here's the deal: my father was born in Everton, my family are officially Evertonians, so if it comes down to a derby match or an FA Cup final between the two, I would have to support Everton. But after a concert at Wembley Arena I got a bit of a friendship with Kenny Dalglish, who had been to the gig and I thought 'You know what? I am just going to support them both because it's all Liverpool.'"[368]

Bollocks. That's disappointing.

Although it seems as if he's not arsed with that whole "it's all Liverpool" thing.

If only he’d got the United gig back in 2003, he could’ve got up to all sorts.

Peter Schmeichel.

He offered to pay his own air fare and digs if Liverpool gave him a trial. Souness had just bought a goalie so knocked Schmeichel back  :-\

John Oliver won an Emmy for his show Last Week Tonight and in his acceptance speech started quoting off names of the Liverpool squad before he got played off stage
