Balo's yellow card yesterday was hardly a yellow. You could see it was mistimed, but there was nothing "dangerous" in it to be considered a yellow on his first foul.
Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesn't matter which color does the hating. It's just plain wrong.

Big cheap shot from Balotelli.  Could've done a lot of damage with those studs.

Surely the worst thing is that Webb was so close by and never noticed a thing?

Because when you're falling forward, the first thing you do is kick/stomp backwards to stop yourself from going down.

Adrian Durham on talkshite's defense of the stamp is that you couldn't prove it in a law of court - never heard him argue that case with suarez and in this case there is damning video evidence. I know he's a chump who likes to play devil's advocate but what a plum.

Totally unnatural placing of the foot to try and keep your balance - don't believe he was aiming for his head but was definitely trying to leave a boot on him. Red card. Lescott in some ways is even more damning as there's no interpretation bollocks to negate a swing of the elbow to someone's face - it clearly wasn't momemtum, he deliberately swings his elbow out. Red card.
Losing your only chance of silverware this season to your city rival. At home. With the most expensive squad ever assembled.

Have that, you arrogant wanker. CarraG238

It definately looked deliberate to me, of course because of the all hype that surrounds Balotelli the world and his dog are commenting on it. Only the man himself can tell you if he meant it though, and seeing as Webb did nothing about it, I dont expect any action from the Fools Association.

Been charged with violent conduct, misses four matches. Starting with Wednesday, unless he appeals of course.

Parker's probably gutted Balotelli didn't make better contact.

Running around valiantly, bravely covered in his own claret, bravely, would be the stuff of dreams for our Scotty Parker.

Terrible isn't it? They just seem to make it up as they go along, what with Suarez, Kompany, Rooney and now this. And that's only this seasons - it's been going on for years. I know it's good for us as we're playing them on Wednesday but it's ridiculous what's happened in recent months.

So, Lescott gets away scot free for an offence as bad if not worse than Baloteli.

As ever, foreign players get treated differently to English ones. The xenophobia rampant in the FA and the media is unreal.

Pathetic really. From the refs, to those who supposedly run the game, you just ask for consistency. You have no idea from one incident to another what will be given as a ban or not. It may work in our favour if he is out, but what does that matter when we have a player on the end of a bigger ban just recently.

As said above I thought the Lescott "elbow" could have been deemed an accident, yet worse than Ballotelli's. Would Rooney have been given a 4 game ban? I don't really need answer to this do I.

Fulham (H)
Villa (A)
Blackburn (H)
Bolton (H)

I think we will appeal it so he can play Wednesday.
