we're creating plenty of chances, but the finishing is not half shite. With Nunez or Salah it's 2-3 goals.

Gravenberch really positive. Endo and Gakpo good too
Harvey is pretty dreadful unfortunately, and Gomez inverting is useless.

Harvey doesn't have the pace to play in Mo's position, he's better in midfield but no option today really
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

A half time thread when we're losing is never a pretty sight but still.

Not fussed at the effort, plenty of the ball and chances but the decision making in the final 3rd is terrible.

Some players looking a bit frustrated and that will worsen as time goes on. Option on the bench are virtually nil.

Could come out and score 3 or 4, but it isn't really shaping up that way. Even so, Luton do not not deserve to be ahead in any case, scoreline flatters them a little I think.
- all in my opinion of course -

We need to be more patient. After an equaliser,  Luton would really struggle with the atmosphere.

Taking pot shots eases the pressure on them. Let's win another game in the 2nd half.

Are Elliott and Diaz getting so much shit because they've actually tried to get on the ball? Gakpo couldve been in witness protection in the first half.
I don't agree, he'd go to Legoland. Bye.

Yeah it just feels like we're in massive trouble here. One or two injuries too many.

More like 5 or 6. Beyond a joke now.

Always is without Nunez. Gakpo is anonymous, as ever.

He had some nice moments but he’ll never be the man leading our attack.

Feel like if some of Diaz chances had fallen to Gakpo we'd have scored
Yeah, agree. Gakpo wins a lot of the loose balls that end up with Diaz though.

And I dont want to be too hard on Diaz when he makes the runs. Harvey is doing nothing

Can only echo everyone else, none of the front 3 are goalscorers.

If we go on to lose this I think it will be the beginning of the end for Diaz

Yet all three of them have scored this season, they just need to continue to play we will get opportunities.

Gotta be finishing these chances

Gotta say though, its infuriating sides let team just push and pull you all game with no punishment. Every single duel contested theres either a shirt pull, arm pull or our players get shoved.

Drop down in quality of this front 3 is stark, Diaz being exposed here unfortunately, his decision making has been shocking. Gakpo seems to disappear when he starts and you need him to step up.

Need to scrape a win here somehow, nothing on the bench to call upon to change things, have to rely on the guys on the pitch.

Can someone tell Kelleher to stop his Hollywood lumps into their CBs, constantly gives away the ball for no reason after dilly dallying on it. Just give it to Virj or Quansah.

Lack of pace upfront is really not helping. In games like this you have to take your chances.

I think Luton will tire but we cannot let them score another in the meantime.

Some players need to step up now and become match winners

Really don’t want to come out of this game saying this is where the league was lost.

Biggest 45 mins of the season coming up so far.

Need to turn this around.

Dont think we can blame the team, look at the injuries. People brushed it off but we have 10 possible first teamers out.

We could play for 6 hours and not score. Just can't see any kind of positive outcome here.

Another season ruined by injuries. I do think we need to look at our training/medical approach. There's no way an elite team can be so consistently unlucky.

I too hate the fact our medical team are yet to find a cure for "Danish lad landing on someones leg"

We are trying to play balls in behind the back line at times and it's painfully obvious we don't have the pace to get in behind without Nunez centrally

Lots of effort shown out there but we need a big step up in our attacking threat next half and may be some luck to get us back into the game. We need more overlaps on that left side with Diaz - I'd get Robertson on straight away

But he's actually been excellent and been our best player, Gakpo on the other hand needs to do more.

Well that was weak. Luton had one good attack and scored.

Diaz, Gravenberch, Elliott and Gakpo have all been poor. They have had a lot of the ball but have been easily dispossessed or have played the wrong ball. For all of our good possession their keeper hasn’t been forced to make a save. Only Mac is playing well.

We let them waltz right through us for their goal.

We haven’t been winning the individual battles and we need to step up. A goal for us will change things but it is hard to see who is going to score.

Needed Diaz and Elliott to step up and they've done the opposite. Luis had a fucking nightmare, but Harvey got every single pass and piece of control wrong when it really mattered.

Absolutely infuriating, as the general play has been fine. If even one of Salah or Nunez were on the pitch we'd be 3-0 up.

Of all the games where the injuries were going to start to bite us, I really didn't want it to be against this lot. The sooner they're flushed from the league the better. Of course they were going to score from their only bleedin' chance then park the bus, that was guaranteed. Hardly the first time we've encountered this. But... we really don't have much on the bench in terms of attacking unless you count Robbo hareing down the wing. The lads we have on the pitch, all bona fide first teamers, need to step up, especially up top.

The shining light though is that the other lot looked absolutely fucking gassed when the ref blew for half time, they'll be on their arses after an hour. I'd pop Robbo on and really stretch them down the left, see if that can wear them down a bit quicker. No doubt we can beat them, but we need to come out like a team possessed from the off and blow them out of the water.
