Deserved win, can't complain over any of the ref decisions today. As for the 2nd yellow they think Konate should have had, he didn't even grab him, he touched him and he took a dive.

Make no mistake this was Everton's cup final, this was them playing out of their skins - they will drop like a stone now.

Better second half definitely, but our decision making in the final 3rd left a lot to be desired.

Jota had one nice run at the end, but feel he didn't really impact the game much.

Nunez was brilliant at the end and setup Salah perfectly.

Dom was great but his shooting was way off.

Elliot was fantastic when he came on.

Gravenberch a very good game, thought he put himself about well.

3 points and top of the table!

Konate veryyyy lucky not to get sent off, which just makes it all the more hilarious. Perfect result for Everton really - a defeat but they can blame it on us being the devil club.

The sending off and penalty were obviously correct decisions. The sending off though helped them more than us, which is why I wouldn't have been overly concerned had Konate gone.

When I saw Kane coming on I knew we had it in the bag.

That might have been Salah's worst game of the season and he gets two.

Not scintillating stuff, but it didn't need to be. We will find our attacking form again.

A little bit worrying how toothless we looked against 10 men but fuck it, penalties count just as much as open play goals.

Konate was lucky to stay on but we were due a dodgy decision going our way after how much the officials have fucked us already this season. The whining about the Young red card and the penalty though is nonsense.

Lovely start to the weekend - we can all relax and just see what happens in the rest of the matches.

Some thoughts:

Ibou smiling and giggling on the bench. He's a fantastic human being.

Gravenberch looks anything but a "sulky" character, eh? Can't wait to watch him continue to ascend.

Mo and Darwin have such great chemistry and understanding - you can see how much they enjoy playing together.

Nice of Ashley Young to get an early start snacking on bird shit in the locker room.
