archer finally gets a wicket by just lashing it at the top of off stump on the full.

Might have got 250 if Latham didn't give his wicket away like that.

runs on the board. competitive score in a final and this isn't going to be an easy chase.

Considering they were 103-1 that's a below par score. England did well to come back from the average start.

First 10 overs and how England play Boult will be important. Pitch seems a bit slow , England probably favourites to win this as they could have been chasing 30 or 40 more.

Poor from Morgan that Woakes didn't get his full 10 overs in. Rashid bowled a couple of overs too many.

I predicted low 200s when Williamson went, they finished slightly above that.

We should be winning it from here though.

Hinges on the start again. Could go a long way to winning or losing it (captain obvious!). Confident but NZ are well in the game and will Andy their chances. About 60/40 in England’s favour I reckon.

Feel like we are at least 20-30 light but we are in it purely because it’s a tricky wicket and our bowlers are pretty canny at working the conditions

At 103-1 it was looking like 270-280 but after losing a few quick wickets they showed at lot of guts to get to 240 in the end. It is defendable but they will have to bowl well.

Why? The umpires call rule is there for a reason. If less than half the ball is hitting (albeit only just less) then it's going to be a difficult call. That being said, I thought it was out in real time.

The Ross Taylor decision was 10 times worse.

Commentators moaning mercilessly about the DRS decision - the ball tracking system has been found to have errors, it isn't perfect that's why it goes to the umpire's decision on the marginals you bellends.

The ball will stop moving after around 10 overs. As long these can get through this spell things will become a lot easier.

No doubt. But you'd fancy Roy and Bairstow to score quicker than Williamson and Co regardless of the conditions

Very dangerous bowling, yet I repeat, these Kookaburra balls don’t continue to hoop around after 10-12 overs.

Have to negotiate this with even more luck than we’ve already had.
