A win tomorrow gets us 4 points off 5th, potentially 4 points away from 4th as well. Feel a win would be huge for us, really do.

Managed to get a ticket for this so im hoping for a positive result. I certainly think we will have our chances its just a matter of taking them. Expecting a phyical battle, no doubt the walrus will have his team pumped up. If any of you missed it, fat sam has been quoted as saying that now that the hammers have been given the olympic stadium they can be bigger than liverpool. He really is a tool!

Would love to get a win, would work wonders for our confidence and our push up the table. Come on red men!

I'll look forward to an interesting write-up mate. I'm already wondering if you had fatherly pressure who laid the accomplishments of Peters, Moore and Hurst before for you to ponder. My dad, the Tranmere season ticket holder, died when I was two so I made my own choices easily after falling in love with LFC with absolutely zero family influence.

Is it going in the scribes section first? I'll have to hang on a bit to read it.

Nope - it was my mum's side of the family.

It's not funny that we don't talk to them anymore... it was a predictable outcome (albeit something that happened years later!)

Looking forward to tomorrow. Feel tomorrow is a big big game, a win would kick start out season IMO.

Would be a massive result if we could win tomorrow mate. With 2 'easier' home games to follow, we could go into xmas within touching distance of 4th.

Lets get rid of this 'not won 2 games in a row in the PL for 2 years' bollocks and 'hammer' these!!

See what I did there  ;D

We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

I certainly like Pacheco and think he should get more game time and agree that he would make a good partner for Suarez, or at least give him the chance to prove this. A gifted player who could shine with other gifted players.

Fuck off supporting liverpool you waste of air.

We likely wont win as these games are the ones we fuck up on.And in reality a draw is a decent result as away to west ham is never easy.

But how on earth can we win if the fans and the players just wake up tomorow morning and say " ah here, were not guna win anyway" Things dont work like that.

Get behind them team. Then if we lose complain.Dont whinge beforehand then be complain.

Somehow, with Suarez missing, I'd feel better with Enrique at left wing again, because he's shown he gets into goalscoring positions, unlike most of our other options. It looks like Shelvey will be playing up front, although I would still like to see Stevie given a try as a number 9. Either way, this game could be the turning point of our season if we win it - successive wins in the league, bringing us closer to the right end of the table, and without Suarez or any senior strikers - could be a huge win.

I fear nothing West Ham can conjure up.
We have answers to anything they can attack us with, even more so with Lucas back in the fold.
The only question is are we going to play a smart and patient game that is needed to force them into errors that could lead to a couple of goals. We can win this and I think we will. Up the fucking hill and all that :)

Fucking keen to see Gerrard up front, think he'd do a boss job there. Best finisher in the side, one of the smartest runners.. If he gets a chance you'd back him bury it.

Sorry but being a realist Gerrard hasn't been on form for 3 seasons, he hasn't scored half as many goals as he once did, would definnately not be my first choice of stand in striker, if anything I would rather have enrique up there.................. no seriously lol, have you seen the positions he's been getting in since playing up front? I think he may well have a natural talent for being an attacking player, also give morgan a chance he has been fantastic for the youth team, so far his few appearances for the senior side haven't been anything to write home about but he will get there and we need to play him some time.

Feeling very confident about tomorrow.
Should be able to beat them easily without Suarez.

Would love for Suso and Pacheco to play. Pacheco needs his chance and Suso is our most creative midfielder  :)

Morgan apparently in the squad :O Interesting to see if he starts...

Enrique                 Sterling
             Shelvey

Is what I hope to see, reckon if we're playing Shelvey or Gerrard there they need willing runners which Enrique is. 2-1 to us i'm going for,

I'm not a WUM, just realistic.

Maybe not a WUM, but certainly an idiot (if you truly believe what you say).

Fuck that, we may not have Suarez tomorrow but we'll still have the likes of Gerrard, Lucas, Johnson, Agger, Allen, etc. And you're telling me we should be shitting our pants because of players like Noble, Nolan, Diame (no disrespect to them, but still)?

I'm confident we've got enough players in there who can step up in Suarez's absence and bang in a goal or two, as I am confident that we've got enough quality to beat West Ham.

I think he is entitled to his opinion, in fairness the likeliehood is that he ismore right than wrong based on recent history, doesn't mean he is not a fan and doesn't mean he won't be desperate for 3 points tomorrow. Put it this way, Liverpool won't be on tomorrow's coupon for me, I fancy a draw, doesn't mean I'm not desperate for 3 points.

Never said he wasn't entitled to his opinion, but with comments like "Won't happen" in response to some who said that we can close the gap with a win, you shouldn't expect people to put an arm around him and say 'well in lad you're spot on' or some such bollocks.

We've not won two in a row in a long time, but man up it's West Ham ffs. They're doing very well since coming back, but unless we were in QPR's position at the moment I'd always be confident of a win at West Ham no matter where else we stood in the table.

Whoever mentioned playing Enrique up top, I think that's a really interesting idea. He seems to have a good understanding with Sterling and Shelvey and I think the 1-2 on the ground could lead to some good looks from the top of the box for Jonjo.

I hope so as well. We'll find out soon enough I suppose. I'm confident that we're going to defend well and maybe even keep them from scoring, or worst case concede only one in which case I think we're capable of scoring twice.
