Nice and Sunny with a breeze at Aintree all day, bit of drizzle forecast later in the day and on Saturday but can't see the ground being worse than good to soft by Saturday. glad I resisted piling into Mr Incredible, I assume his price must drift.
Have to see how the early races go to see how testing it is but I can't see it being a slog.
It might take our producers five minutes to find 60 economists who feared Brexit and five hours to find a sole voice who espoused it.

If they don’t take this off Impaire et Passe we may as well do away with stewards and interference. It’s cut and dried.

Had it at 9/1 but not sure if I took the price. Had it ew just before the race at 14/1 .

Interference was mainly with Langer Dan and he can’t win as he’s finished third. I think it may remain the same

Edit: places remain unaltered

It’s absolutely braindead. He’s interfered with Langer Dan by more than enough to be demoted to third but because Langer Dan didn’t come second they decide to do nothing. Except he would’ve come first without the interference. Horse racing is dying on its arse in every single way because it’s run by morons.

Yeah, I agree. Langer Dan should be first, Bob Olinger second, Impaire (who lived up to his name today) third.

Even if they don’t outright give Langer Dan the race there’s no justifiable reason whatsoever for allowing IeP to keep additional prize money over the horse he caused significant interference too and probably took the race away from. It’s so backwards.

Your can’t make Langer Dan the winner, he was beaten fairly by Bob Olinger.
Impaire didn’t really cause Bob a problem so I can understand it.

In France Bob would have got the race and Impaire placed third

He probably cost Langer Dan a 2nd place instead of 3rd though.

Especially with such a short distance.

But Bob Olinger had nothing to do with the interference, which may or may not have cost LD the race, so you can’t place him ahead of Bob

And because Impaire didn’t interfere with Bob the eventual second you can’t place him behind Bob.

Watch the sky cam Gerry and tell me Langer Dan didn't shift to his right by about 10 yards. The horse never had to check it's run either. Harry Skelton never stopped riding.
