A player who is out on loan has their wages paid 50% by the parent club and 50% by the club the player is at.

Does a transfer window mean you can sign players from unmanaged clubs? I don't get how it would work.. Or is it that we can only buy players in those windows?

You can only buy from any clubs in the entire game in the designated slot

Apart from the above I think its a good idea.

You could still dabble and research, you'd just be shortlisting in the meantime leading upto the window. So there'd be no fun gone out o the game in that sense. I'll make the window from Game 11-16. Thats the last 3 games of the first half of the season, and the first 3 of the second half of the season. It'll be open for near 3 weeks, so plenty of time to be around and get stuff done

Fucking hell, season kicks off on Sunday!!! Early enough, thought we had a week of friendlies to go through. Anyway.......

The Transfer window is in effect!! From Turn 11 - Turn 16. Thats from June 30th through to July 18th. So near 3 weeks for people to handle their business.

If it doesn't work out, and folk aren't happy, we'll jib it for next season ok

hmmmmmmmm.........Seems you can still make transfers. You can make bids and have them accepted. They just wont go through till the window opens. So essentially teams can book players. Bit shit. Pointless really. Shame in a way though. One positive from it would of been those who weren't online all the time, have a disadvantage on those who are online all the time on picking up new players added to the database, and those whose transfer bans have just expired, as they're late to the party. Oh well.
Anyway, the window is still essentially open!!

You need a highly rated striker IMO, may be worth sacrificing Sneijder and a decent prospect to get one.

I would play direct and go with-

Club Finances
May 28, 2013
The Finances section of the game has been updated to include a new weekly view of the finances rather than the previous turn based snapshot which should making tracking the financial performance of your club easier.
There is also now an option to select the Charts tab which shows key financial elements in visual form. On this tab there are two similar charts showing club income and expenditure. As you might expect, the 'All Income/Expenditure' chart includes every item of revenue and cost, including things like player sales/purchases and prize money. This might sometimes give you a distorted picture of club finances (i.e. if you have just signed or sold a player) and so there is another similar chart called 'Regular Income/Expenditure' which does not include things like player sales/purchases and prize money and so should give a clearer picture of how well your club finances are progressing.
Recent game updates place an increased focus on managing your wage bill and we hope this new feature will make this element of the game easier.

I'm always open to deals, it is what I enjoy most about the game, I broke the record for Ronaldo in the other gameworld and then swapped him a year later after all.

I'm in the same boat, i have had 2 great seasons and now the wheels have fallen off. It is the same in the other game world.

Tonight I dominated and end up losing 3-1 at home to an inferior rated team, it makes no sense.
