Barca dish out the mother of all whippings away to Inter. Sublime at times, infuriating at others

Had no idea there was a top of the table clash tonight. Lads kept it quite!

May have been because Juve's, otherwise on the money, manager thought the game was tomorrow night ;D

Still delighted with the late win and the impact of Chiellini, back from injury and scores the decicive goal as Man City are usurped at the top.

Well done, hopefully we can bounce back straight away but something tells me this is Juve's year.

Having won Div 2 last year it was always a big ask to win win Div 1 at the first attempt. Although if achieved it would be the double having won the other gameworld with Lazio.

Should be an interesting finish.

Porto drew with Schalke and Benfica win.

Arsenal are next which is a massive six pointer.

Yeah the thing that got to me was the fact that it was only with 8 (including cup games) left of last season that my team was rather average. But when Pirlo went up 2 in ratings and Marchisio, Asamoah, Barzagli, Hernanes, Vidal, Giovinco, Bonucci (now gone) all went up 1. It was a massive difference. It meant that my starting XI's ratings went from 88-94 (when Buffon was injured- I firmly expect him to go back to 95/96 next time around - and Chiellini suspended Pirlo and Lucio :-X were the highest at 92) to now lowest rated 90 Lichtsteiner and with Buffon, Chiellini and Pirlo all ranked 94. That's a massive difference to have.

Also gave up on playing 3-5-2 like the real team do and have now settled on the 4-4-1-1 which has worked wonders for me. As well as switching to 3-4-3 when chasing a goal in the last 30/15 minutes

A new club record has been set by Porto.

Twatted 7 - 1 by Arsenal.

Hahahha.

I changed by tactics because the oppositions system worried me. I played 532 and got snotted.

You had 15 shots on target compared to their 8, you scored 1 of them and they scored 7!

That is harsh.

They were five up after eight minutes. Six after thirty.
I rested Lampard and tinkered a lot. Back to me 4312 and Napoli best beware on Thursday.

Promotion is still on.

Porto back up to second after being outplayed by Napoli. Won 1 - 0 and Gonzalez again. Benfica and Arsenal drop points. Seven points off top spot and I believe it can be done and play them soon.

Massive game tomorrow in league two.

Porto are seven points behind Benfica and we play tomorrow.  If Porto win its game on with six games left. If we lose then i may have to concede the title race and settle for second or a play off place.

Ive tinkered with me in game  tactics a little and very confident to overcome Benfica. I will rest Moutinhio as he is knackered and play Scholes.

Game on.

Regret playing Vidal now, considering he was still some way off 100% fitness. Should've gone with Asamoah like I had in previous weeks, but fair play to PSG.

Arguably the biggest game of the season coming up against Barca. A win puts us firmly ahead but Barca could meddle in the fight for the title with a big performance.

took Real Madrid down a peg in a 3-1 win.

Pierre Emerick having a good run with a goal and assist today, Wes Sneijder dropped to 92 this week but still picked up MOTM against his previous employers.

A strong 2-3 away win against Barca, setting a new club record of 10 games undefeated in a row and on top of that City are brought to a halt in the Manchester derby.

Yeah you did. I must admit I'm rather surprised by this run. I guess tactical consistency is key. That and the massive ratings spike of course. But also having a recognised target man and a playmaker helps, given I play a direct, hard pressing and hard tackling game.

I guess I also owe something to the versatillity of my squad. I can replace any player, bar Buffon, and not suffer more than 2 in ratings.

Man United clinging on to Division 1 status.

Perhaps the decision to sell over 1/3 of the squad since taking over, and persisting with Michael Ngoo up front for the first 14 games of the season is going to backfire.
