I’ll certainly be looking to get hold of a ticket for our away from one of my best mates who’s a season ticket holder.

Also watched us a couple there of times when Souness when in charge. Although I was in with the home fans (very unpopular by the end of the games - you just don’t care about that when your 15 though)

I have been in a few away ends once at old Trafford when Craig Johnston Scored  and Glasgow Rangers although only a Friendly when Kenny Dalglish  Scored

Liverpool are also poaching Sipke Hulshoff, the assistant coach at Feyenoord, as well as Ruben Peeters, their head of performance.

Time for the Arne Slot thread?

Jurgs BT interview

"What I like about it, first and foremost he really wants to be the manager here, I like that a lot, that's exactly the way it should be. I like the positivity around it, what people tell me is they're looking forward to it if he would be the next manager, they would be happy, very good football as well.
Hmmm. That's strange. Earlier today I read that it was sign that Slot was "desperate" and also "thinks he's too big for the Dutch league".

I wish a bit of Jurgen's positivity could have rubbed off on a few of our posters after nearly nine years.

Alright, Tony Khan is officially mental. Just compared WWE to Harvey Weinstein...

He is AEW's biggest problem even if he seems to be one of the less bad billionaires.

Welcome Arne.

What I like about this appointment is that we have had a clear plan and stuck to our principles in outlining what is required of our next manager. We haven’t just gone for the flavour of the month, we have set out key criteria and appointed the manager that best fits it.

I like him, based off Feyenoord match highlights. Team is well coordinated in both phases, reacts quickly to game situations in an organised manner - which is always a good starting point to assess and know that a lot of coaching work has gone into the side.
He's no man-manager bluffer, he's a coach first. The rest, if it gives him 'charisma', great.

You see the quick short passing and high press, which fits us fine, but also there's a defensive solidity there, which we lack.
If he can modify the shape we play now to make us more compact, while taking in aspects of that consistent high press from Feyenoord...we could easily improve in our play compared to this season.

This really stands out now I've watched highlights of his Feyenoord team - they're very deliberate in what they do, a huge number of first-time passes, but the players just generally seem to move the ball around incredibly quickly.

Watching us lately, sometimes feels like a few too many of our players want an age and about 4-5 touches standing more or less still before they decide what to do with the ball, which is something that has crept into our game more and more over the past 1-2 years. Could be some teething problems as the players get used to it, but on the face of it we have players with the required technical ability to play more quickly with the ball that we currently seem to.

It's been pissing down since 10 o'clock and it's freezing.

It's also high time the club 'right-size' the medical department, weed out whatever disagreements, staff, and adjust the load so we improve the injury record, have healthier players for longer. Feyenoord seem to have done much better on that score, while still playing pro-active football, critical we have that. Not intensity that ages Robertson before his time or breaks prospects.

He is clearly SO HAPPY to be able to wear a neck brace selling the injury.

Dare I say.....releasing the tape has worked out wonders, although maybe not how one expected. Jack Perry has come in with a lot of heat due to it, they have a good angle going, and it's even lead to AEW getting named in the NFL Draft.

They have seemingly stumbled into gold, I hope they run with it
