can someone refresh my memory. after the 'incident' regarding the napoli home game, am i correct in thinking that general sale tickets were not available during the final week or so? usually, STH/members/fancards/online get the first pick a month before the game..two weeks later a general sale and cred card bookings takes place... how come it's suggested napoli supporters were buying membership to purchase general sale tickets? that doesn't make sense.
i think the balls up just came from napoli buying general home tickets and it became a concern - if it was a balls up as such.
so, if a member/fancard holder buys a ticket from the ticket office, and no longer wishes to go to the game and sells it on as a spare, whoever buys it maybe asked to produce the members card/fancard on entry.. is this correct? does this apply to away games as well?
what is the situation if a season ticket holder purchases a ticket or two and has one spare? say for an away or a home cup tie. i have read stewards have been making random checks now and then.. is it the case of all steards or some?
if a members card gets swiped on entry, how is it possible for a supporter to gain entry without a card but in receipt of a ticket? so if joebloggs has a ticket and genuinly cannot go because of say work commitment or is ill and rather see a ticket go to waste, either sells it or gives it to his or her mate
