Also we definitely need to find a way to work the left a bit better. Smalling's been atrocious just about every time Downing or Enrique have had a go.

That Man Utd dugout is like a who's who of ugly.  Thought we were nervous enough in the first 20 minutes but we got better.  A few needlessly getting caught in possession and misplaced passes; we need to cut that out.  Glad I'm not down the local watching this, I'd be demolishing pints.
May contain irony.

Another SITTER missed. Story of our season so far.

So fucking frustrating!

Sitter? Really? Manc defender and keeper to beat with no real angle.

Shitfest of a first half.  Both teams crap.

First team to step it up in the second half will win.

This. Bellamy would have more to offer than Adam. I don't know why he's so poor for us but so good for Blackpool and Scotland.

Oh and we should do a banner that says "STOP HOOFING"

Really? Adam's been our best player imo and I'm not a fan of Adam.

Need to score early in the 2nd half. United have just come to stifle us. I'd like for someone to just take a pop outside the box. Not getting enough shots in.

We've done ok so far.

There doesn't seem to be any conviction to attack. An example when Enquire ran down the line, almost the full length of the pitch and still no-one in the box when the cross came in. Growing more confidence in moving up the pitch as time goes on, but seriously need to get a hold of this game, because right now it can go either way.

Bellamy would definately make a difference. Hes not the type to sit around scratching his balls but would really go at the Utd defence giving Suarez some decent support.
If he retires I'll eat my fucking cock.

Suarez is isolated but the reason we are dominating is because the extra man in the middle.

We don't have an extra man in the middle

Wouldn't say we are dominating either. It's all very scrappy.

Where is Gerrard actually playing, seems like him and Kuyt are both playing on the right.
seemed like it's designed to both help us cover Young's pace down their left as well as afford the space for Downing/Adam to attack down the left and through the middle.

Exactly so why are we sitting so deep if they've parked the bus. There entitled to, we've not even shown no ambition support suarez.

Suarez's shot was straight at De Gea - he should have been putting the ball to the keeper's right.

Think we've been very poor in the first half. Passing hasn't been great, movement has been poor and where is the tempo? The crowd are very subdued too.

Personally, I'd bring Bellamy on for Adam if KK feels brave, or Kuyt.

We need to get the first goal otherwise we are up shit creek.

They have a massive bench which could turn the game for them. We need to score first.

I would take a draw at this point.

Bellamy for Downing. Pronto

I keep forgetting about Bellamy. Downing needs to stay on though, I'd like to see that pace from Bellamy instead of Kuyt who's not been so great up there today. So far.

Things I would like to see in the second half:
More men in the box up front (like everybody else)
More direct attacks, our best chances have come when running right at them.

Not really fussed about Rooney coming on. I think he was kept on the bench just because we have Carroll/Bellamy there and its sort of a matching strategy.

Carragher was good, Enrique apart from a couple of lost posessions he's been really good. I'd probably put Adam & Kelly probably the two best for us.

Spearo I imagine. Maybe Stevie-Adam in middle with Kuyt out right. We have options.

Looks like ORN's got his tactics spot on for this game.  With his bench I can honestly see them nicking something from this game.

I hate the thought of subbing Lucas but I like the thought of a second yellow even less.  We may have to drop Gerrard back to CM and bring on Carroll or Bellamy?

think its more us getting the tactica wrong to be honest
we should have 2 up as we have two forward thinking passers sitting in midfield who have no targets to hit.

reeks of accomodating players rather than putting a side out to put them under pressure.

Get Carroll on for Dirk, let Ferdinand mark Carroll out of the game if he wants, but then drop Suarez 10 yards deeper and let him run at Johnny Evans.

Frustrating, which is exactly what Ferguson wanted at this stage.

Being pushed back all the time, other than the last 10 minutes when they lost their shape a bit. Suarez can't win balls in the air against a guy about a foot taller than him, so stop fucking doing it. Get Gerrard further forward and more involved, and keep switching Downing and Stevie as that seems to be confusing them and working for us.

Can't believe Luis missed that chance.
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.
