Cheers Anthony for organising the event, gutted I missed it but really didn't feel like coming up to London after taking so long getting home Thursday night. Hopefully we will be able to arrange another night. Realised from the tube thread how many people work nearby Aldgate/Liverpool Street area!
Just  a thought that a pub near me has a free BBQ on a thursday night and fairly cheap beer for the city so perhaps a post work drinks session could be a possiblility if people are interested.

thanks to anthony for organising it,

big thanks to the landlady, supplying us with either chips and gravy (yum) or curry and chips :puke2

good to see so many old and new faces again, think we should do this more often
as it all gets too hectic when travelling to games, we never get a chance to actually talk to each other.

see you wednesday at the extra time (i'll try and make it after half time if i manage to get outta work early

considering it was only 2 days after the bombs I thought it was very good! Thought there'd only be a handful, but there was a fair few.

Thanks to everybody for turning up - especally under the circumstances.

Sorry I haven't posted on here before now but I overdid it a bit on Saturday and the brain cells took a while to click back in (by which time I was busy with other things)

Anyway - it was good to see the game yet again (even better to see a video machine that could play it - the Trackings gone a bit wonky on mine). I'm glad to see the chips went down well - they were very tasty...  :lickin

Not sure if I can make Extra Time tomorrow but have a great time. Meanwhile if the weather's nice in September maybe we can meet up in the Beer Garden.

Actually I might not be at Extra time tomorrow, I forgot that of course its on the tube lines which are still pretty messed up due to the bombing.

Might not be the easiest venue for people to get to, unless they know there way around enough to find their way from one of the other stations

Feck. I've just check it out. Every tube I'd need to get isn't running so it looks like I'll give it a miss.   :(

Thanks for Anthony for making the meeting possible, it was a pleasure to meet you.
It was nice to get in there even though I had to leave pretty early to meet some other people as we were flying back to Finland already on Monday.

Unfortunately no idea about who the other people behind the nicknames were but that was something I was expecting as I haven't met anyone beforehand.
