Jeff Hardy disagrees.

The rest of your point I agree with. I'm constantly amazed at how many people seem to believe evolution moves in a strictly linear fashion.

I mean any living species, which is to what the original poster was referring. All species evolve from common ancestors. That's why there is diversity of species.

What can't be solved?
Monkeys, Pyramids, the guy who discovered milks motives for fondling a cows genitalia, Stonehenge, lockness etc etc etc.

There is plenty and Pyramids is one of them. Some things are too hard.

I'm not taking the piss! I was going to raise the Monkey point last Saturday, but then I saw all the piss taking from everyone else.

But I decided to dig the monkey debate out to prove like the Pyramids that some things just CAN'T be solved.

Mate, we didn't evolve from modern monkeys, though we share a common ancestor, which was probably some kind of monkey itself, or primate, at any rate. From that common ancestor, we evolved. The various different species of monkeys and apes that exist today also evolved, they just took a different evolutionary path to us. Evolution doesn't always work in a strictly linear fashion (ie from thicker creatures like monkeys to more intelligent species such as ourselves), hence the variety in primate species we see today.

I'm probably explaining it poorly, so here's a picture that should help a bit:

Chris Jericho left in April, but I get your point. Like I said in this thread before, I don't go to WWE for that information.

A celebrity that happened to be a WWE star made a point, and I did a Rawk search for a thread on pyramids to get a quickfire answer on his theory. Yet a week later here we are.

I should of just gone to Ask, Rawk Replies. But I have been on Google too.

Well the answers to the pyramid question have been posted in great detail in this thread. There's just one poster on a wind up so we're all still here because were suckers ;D

The answers to your monkey question should be pretty easy to come by as well with a quick Google.

And no, my Brother In Law (not ficticious) is neither famous nor has he solved any mystery as  there isn't really a mystery, just a bit of an unknown as to the precise methods they employed, which is then unfortunately misinterpreted by thickos like yourself as something 'mysterious'

Haha and this took him five minutes to do?

How high did he lift this block?

I could lift Chakan, it doesn't mean I could carry him several hundred feet into the air.

Why are you talking about lifting blocks a hundred feet in the air? All of the theories for building the pyramids (apart from ancient aliens) are based on ramps. The quarry was a few hundred metres from the Great Pyramid.

Lifting vertically or hoisting up a ramp around a very high and complex site, it's all the one. It couldn't be done in said timescale.

Excuse my naivete man, but I've never heard of "milks motives for fondling a cows genitalia" or "lockness," and I'm not actually taking the piss here.

Could you explain these supposedly common mysteries to me in layman's terms? They sound genuinely fascinating. I thought I was fairly well versed in the strange world of conspiracy theories, but it appears I'm missing out on a whole world of crazy.

Based on what? 'Common sense' is not an answer here as you've repeatedly shown you have little grasp on any of the numbers involved. Where is the evidence that it couldn't possibly have been done in that timescale?

I'm game. I know not this ants theory of which you speak, but I'm hoping it's the equal in mystery to enigmas such as "lockness" and "milks motives for fondling a cows genitalia," which I'm sure, once Andy Hunter explains it to me, will be my favourite mystery ever.

Because when you do the sums of 2,000,000 blocks, at two tonnes, they would need to be placed every ten (conservative estimate) minutes. That's not taking into account the accuracy that would be needed.

I've gone back and listened to THAT podcast today. And Jeff Hardy made a good point in that, if we evolve from monkeys then why do monkeys still exist?

It just shows there a lot of anomalies in regards to the Pyramids and beyond.

Oh for fucks sake. Really?

Try this one: If I descended from my grandad, how come my cousins exist? It’s exactly the same stupid question but just two generations back.

We have common ancestors with other primates. We didn’t ‘descend’ from the monkeys that are around today. They’re our distant ‘cousins’ descended from a distant common ancestor.

Have you done the sums yourself? If so could you show your working please?

If you haven't done the sums yourself then I presume you read them somewhere. If that is the case, could you provide the source for the mathematics that show its impossible?
