I don’t like to pile on referees for decisions but that yellow card was fucking disgraceful, was arguably not even a foul.

It was a fucking joke. It wasn't even a foul, let alone a yellow card.

The mistake was Alisson's, that was horrendous goalkeeping.

Kabak looked very comfortable up to that point, the team went to pieces after it.

Bullshit he’s done nothing wrong. All Allison’s fault that.
Yep goal was all Alisson’s fault.

Didn’t realise how slow kabak was tho, can’t defend up high with him, far too slow.

Yep. Wasn't even a foul let alone a yellow. Taylor loves giving yellows for fouls that are dives.

It’s only Ali’s fault if there was no call...then it’s 100% on Kabak. Hopefully they learn from it - whomever was at fault. Collapsing badly once things go against us though...gotta be a worry.

Allison had no reason to be that far out. Kabak had it covered until Allison decided to get involved
Kabak is in an awful position and can’t deal with the ball, he gets there first and barely makes contact with the ball, it would have dropped to a Leicester player anyway. Alisson is facing the ball and is in a much better position to deal with it.

Like I said it all depends whether Alisson called for it or not.

He was also directly at fault for the third goal. They got in behind him extremely easily.

Very harsh to blame a 20 year old on his debut in a new league playing for a side that is fucking shot to bits confidence wise.

How was it horrendous? He would have got the ball and prevented a possible 2v1. It was a communication error, probably because Kabak has just come into the team.

He was trying to hook a ball going over his head, he was poorly positioned. Alisson was right to come out for that but as I keep saying I’d he didn’t call then it’s his mistake.

Doesn't deserve blame, that was a debut to forget!

Alli was right to come out and sweep it, that what you want your keeper to do.

I can't remember which Leicester player it was but they lunged into Robbo first half and yet no yellow card. Yet Kabak gets booked for that, tells you everything you need to know about refs and us this season.

Overall though I would say he seems very raw. He got caught out being over-committed multiple times. It did not cost us that much but it did happen at a relatively high frequency.
His yellow card was absolute nonsense though.

Having seen a fair bit of him in the Bundesliga, I don't think pace is an issue. The issue for the third goal looked to be positioning, the team had gone to pieces and everyone was all over the place.

Look at the position of our back four for that second goal, it was a mess when the ball was played.  So open.

If Alisson called for it, then Kabak should've got out of the way, but either way he probably didn't expect his keeper to be that far out when he was right under the ball.

Just pathetic of his team mates to put him in that position. Young kid starting his first game in a new league against someone like Vardy and then the midfield and goalkeeper contribute to that after he was coping very well.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

It was both...pace and positioning

I don't think VVD or Gomez would have caught Barnes, who is no slouch himself, when he has that much space to run into.

Unless he automatically lost a yard of pace on the flight over from Germany, Kabak isn't slow. He wouldn't be the quickest CB we've got when they're all fit, but he's quick enough.

He's got a ton of pace. Maybe not the fastest off the mark but saying he lacks pace is outlandish. He made a recovery today that very few players would have the pace to make. Certainly wouldn't call him average.

Hard to say he was at fault for the last two. The last one was a pretty poor giveaway by Salah at the halfway line. One win though for him in 27 games.

I think he is average paced, agree to disagree but his pace isn’t a standout quality of his, Robertson for example on the other side is a fair deal faster.

Not the greatest of debut to be fair. Seems very slow to get back for Barnes goal. Full team collapsed after their first goal but he doesn't look like he's got the pace to play in our high line

Barnes is rapid but I agree that he doesn't look a speedy centre back.  Doesn't mean he's slow, but if we're going to be spreading our defence out for the foreseeable future, then we need more pace back there.
