Been having a few problems with my mental health, tried taking my own life, that sort of thing, so I decided to get back into my blog, distract myself, y'know...

Just had a look at the stats, it's been viewed in 34 different countries, which is pretty cool. Cheered me up  :)
Sorry to hear you've had problems in the past mate.
Glad to hear that 'self medicating' by doing a blog is helping you; excellent  :thumbup

Good quality socks that fit properly.

I've bought some from Falke in Germany, great fit and good range of colours.

One size socks are the devil's own love child and should be banned.

Maybe the Remain campaign should have made a bigger deal of socks last year.

Any chance of a link mate? Hope you're on the up now, though I know it's not as easy or simple as that. All the best.

Looks like I'll be having my first sober New Years Eve in almost a decade. I'm hoping to break the mental association between events and drinking (you can all thank me for the two finals we'll be in this season later!).

Do you mean Frottage will ban me buying my socks directly from Germany? And he's got a German wife?

Being off work till the 8th of January..

On years when this is also the case for me, the question I have for anyone else who is off until second week of January is...

Do you still consider it to be Christmas? I mean it's an extension of the Christmas break. I guess it's acceptable to watch Xmas movies right. Ok maybe not the latter, but it's still the festive season right?

nah not really...more like a winter break once it ticks over into the New Year - even if the deckys don't come down till the 5th...always really enjoy this week though, chance just to laze around, polish off the mince pies/cheese/celebrations and watch all the stuff that you recorded over the holiday....a last hoorah before the grim reality of the working year grabs you by the plums again

Rather a day as a lion than a lifetime as a sheep.

I can only be nice to one person a day.  Today is not your day.  Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.
I tried being reasonable.  I didn't like it.  Old enough to know better.  Young enough not to give a fuck.
