This series doesn't seem to be as 'subtle' to me. Not meaning to be critical - in fact, the storylines don't even have to be good for it to make you laugh out loud on a number of occasions, as I have done for each episode of the series so far.

As for the running storylines - it obviously doesn't matter and when you watch old seasons, it's only relevant in a handful of the episodes really. But I will always maintain that - for what it is - series 3 is my favourite. The Grand Opening will probably NEVER fail to make me grin like a Cheshire Cat at the end.

The word 'carwash' never fails to make me chuckle.

The scene in Ted's house from the latest episode has just had me in hysterics.

From the bit where he hands him the freak book until he gets thrown out will go down as one of my favourite Curb moments.

Loved the one where he got Suzy & Jeff's little daughter drunk.

When Suzi screams at him for being a sick fuck and asking why he didnt notice her slurring her words, he comes back with a classic Larry moment: "I thought she had a speech impediment"

Laughed for fucking hours at that....

You got to get in that asshole Larry. Close it behind you and spray paint your name Larry.

Just picked up the season 2 boxset for 25 dollars in the states,
looking forward to seeing them all again.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

I think that might just be the first thing I've seen that is more expensive there than it is here...

25 dollars is exactly 12.50 isn't it? You'd find it difficult to find it for that price in the shops here.

"You said Sweet Judy Brown Eyes?! Holy fuck!"

Edit: I do apologise. That, of course, should be "Suite" Judy Brown Eyes. Please consider it a typo rather than an example of my lack of musical knowledge. I adore Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, for the record.

I think this is my favourite season. There been moments especially in the last two episodes where i don't think I've laughed as hard watching TV since the Office.

I wouldn't say it was my favourite, but there have been absolutely fantastic moments. This week's was absolute gem in particular. I suppose there's still three weeks to convince me its the best though.

I'd go along with that. This week's showed another dimension- the whole Cheryl story was a different tone to anything we've seen before, but it worked. The Black/black lad is a real find. And Lucy Lawless-  8)

Not that I would dare criticise the comedic genius of Larry David, but I would have preferred it if this week's episode happened say, two or three weeks ago. The one with the "rat" could have easily worked with him not with Cheryl.

I fooking love this programme now.
I have had series 1 and 2 for a while, but never really got into them that much but now I cant stop watching them.
Gonna buy series 3 over the weekend but I have seen a few episodes already, The one where Geoff's kid gets pissed is funny as fuck.
Quality programme but i think it's one where you really like it or you dont. Tried to get my bird to watch it but it went over her head.

Nah. It probably involves some misunderstanding, Larry gets in trouble with Cheryl, Cheryl thinks he has but he hasn't. Larry says something like "Why would i want anybody else when i've got you" at the end. Am i close or miles off?
