Skins are probably a bit of fraud at 5-2. However - if they can get some regular offensive production they have a decent defense and might make the playoffs.

That was the most fitting final play possible, 49ers snapping the ball over their QB's head and into oblivion. Two bad teams but the Cards winning the way they did was a great boost for the new offensive coordinator and for Josh Rosen. Larry Fitzgerald is still the man too.

Pardon my ignorance (as ever) but they’d have had an unassailable lead had he scored so why didn’t he? Even with no extra point they’d have gone 8 ahead with surely no time for Packers to score more than once?

Clearly I’m blissfully unaware of something obvious but why didn’t he just score?

Utter stupidity from Montgomery.

I'd shoot any returner who even thinks about taking it out of the end zone with 2.05 left. Literally zero upside.
That's on the special teams coach though. Has to tell him before the play to take a knee just to preserve the 2 min warning time out.

by going down there it was guaranteed that the packers don't get the ball back. if you score and kick off there's always the possibility of a kick off return for a TD, no matter how unlikely.

Just read that Montgomery was instructed to take a knee and basically ignored that. He should be waking up to being cut this morning, absolutely fucking brain dead.

Really getting into this business now. I finally understand all the rules and am getting better at understanding the plays and formations etc.

I’ll be in New York for work and have been lucky enough to have been given tickets to Giants v Bears, which will be an experience. I was down in London for Seahwaks v Raiders, which was fantastic despite the game being a one-sided mauling. Loved it.

I asked a question about merch earlier in the thread and got some decent replies. What’s the chance I’ll be able to get a Mahomes KC Jersey while I’m in NY? Have found nowhere in the UK that looks reliable and stocks them. The Nike store had some of the proper jerseys by Wembley on game day, but it was basically every team except the Chiefs 😅

My preference would be to pick one up over here as I doubt I’ll have time for much shopping while I’m in the states.

Good to see the Seahawks win again and their defence looking halfway decent all of a sudden. Got a soft spot for them as Wembley was my first ever game. The Chiefs have been the side I’ve enjoyed watching the most this season though. Mahomes plays with incredible charisma.

Probably true  ;D Might be fun seeing Mack plunge Eli to the turf three or four times though.

Was more referring to the chance to see a game in the States and soak it up. As good as Wembley was, it was obviously geared to people who have even less of a clue than I do.

One of the more amusing facets of Jackson being fired is that they have actually been unfortunate not to win more games this season in which they were the better team. And yet he managed to last two years during which he only won once
