Klopp really is cooking up something special with this bunch isn't he.

Ryan was MOTM for me but i though Endo was outstanding also.

That was fun. 5 points clear after three games is alright. Win away at Toulouse and we’ll qualify. Union do t win and we’ll have won the group. That would be nice with bigger games to come at home in the coming weeks.

Gravenberch looks superb. Darwin was a handful as usual. Great to see Endo score and nice to see both Chambers and Scanlon get some minutes.

So far so good for the Europa League. Taking it seriously while resting big players and giving some of the fringe and youth players a chance. Enjoying it.

Joe Gomez is fucking nuts. imagine having the injuries hes had and still being that fucking rapid.

It's so good seeing him running around quickly and trying to get involved in the attack, he's putting in some good crosses and surely one day he has to score.  :)

Really entertaining game - Toulouse were brave, tried to play a bit of football, and didn't resort to shithouse tactics/behaviour, and they got some joy at times as a result but ultimately couldn't cope with our superior quality. I particularly enjoyed the little injection of energy early in the second half.

Couple good goals, some minutes for squad players/players returning from injury, 3 debuts. This is really what you want to be getting out of the Europa League.

Win the return fixture and we're through with 2 games to spare, and could well box off being group winners depending on the other game, meaning we can afford to keep the likes of Salah well away from the last 2 fixtures. Great position to be in.

That might be true as well, he won't be the only defender to never score after all. But imagine if he did, I'm sure the whole team would be ecstatic for him.  :D

He has that turn of pace needed to make it.

Chambers was good too - and when he gets stronger he will be tough to beat.

It’s exciting isn’t it? So much potential in this group. Gravenberch could end up being the bargin of all bargains. Darwin was ace, Endo was very good, 3 debuts, Jota looking so sharp, Trent looking like a man who means business. Jones cocky as fuck. They were no mugs, second best team in the group. But we rode a couple of storms and played very well. Bring on yeh Forest.

Great win. Good to see Curtis play again, he's becoming a favourite of mine. Impressed Endo too - I love a midfielder who just twats the ball to feet on the ground. Gives the receiving player so many options and he's good at finding the lines too.

Just wanted to say I really enjoyed the commentary on TNT. Lots of enthusiasm, facts and background on players, a sense of humility.

Missed the game but based on the highlights it looked a lot of fun, which is sort of what the Europa League should be when you're a very good side. I think another reason this wasn't such a bad year to be in this competition is the extra games for a lot of the newer players without such a massive sense of pressure on them.

Gravenberch, feet like grease lightening.  Don't suppose Bayern have anymore like him that we can rinse out of them?

Nunez, looked an £80m centre-forward right up until he hit the post.  Then he looked like an 80p player.  Bless the mad lad.  Scored a brillant opener too.  What gives?

Endo, super headed goal and performance.

Chambers, he looked pretty impressive.

Looking forward to the return game, the firework display in the second half made the atmosphere pretty special (until the smoke cleared).

Best part of the season for me so far, Joe back in his pomp. Hes done great at rb as well and also as the hybrid role he's been really good , perhaps he should be a midfielder  ;D

Today him and Matip were too good for the oppo they were mostly just needing to stroll about, but there was one point around 50 mins Joe came over on the cover and hit the gas, greased lightning. Very cool.

Defense optional against a random European opponent where we just throw a mishmash group together and get it done. What's not to love? Fun game to watch, no real stress or reason to worry. Some really great performances to boot. Up the Reds!

The way Nunez took the ball in his stride and waltz past the keeper reminded me of 07/08 Torres then he hit the post with the goal gaping  and turned into 11/12 Torres! Someone needs to get him some ice and know when to cool it down! Scored the more important one mind.

Great goal from Endo but what I liked was how many times he managed to find a red shirt with a forward pass whilst under pressure.

Gravenberch's touch continues to amaze, just oozes quality he is settling in nicely now.

Obviously madness for Mo to come on at 4-1 but the guy just smells goals and knew there was probably one there for him  and duly got it.

Apart from the lapse for the goal and Kelleher's miskick, it was a perfect night, they were decent but we were just that bit better whilst giving the squad valuable squad time.
Some clubs were always destined for greatness...

thought we would have made it a bit tougher on ourselves and have more hairy moments with our B squad. but have been pretty much smooth sailing as seen with the amount of pages post match. Not sure whether is the quality of our players or how poor europa have become. Might be more interesting once the CL rejects appears
